The only people claiming Tsunami are the Sydney media.

The GWS will take many years to meet their potential on and off the field. A start with numbers I mentioned will be a good foundation to grow on as they start to engage with the region.

You're all believers in the tsunami. Why cos even believes the victorian rules is about to take over the world

Do you see the panthers and other RL teams becoming defunct due to GWs' presence Xman?

I've spat bigger torrents than the Storm, despite years of success.

The VFL are going to get a shock of epic proportions with this venture
if they had any doubts about their product not being strong outside of its heartland

GWS will lay them to rest ... with a massive YEP... we aint that flash out here.
the greatest disaster in Australian Sporting History ... & the VFL .. with the war chest evapourating ... spiralling costs & clubs going to the wall left right & centre

will kill the experiment ... ohh .. about 2020
mark my words

Well the NRL membership figures are out and it looks like the GWS have already achieved higher membership tally than 1 Sydney based nrl team in the sharks who haven't even cracked 5k!

If they can get to 9k they will be ahead of 6 other NRL teams! =D>

8 of the NRL clubs are still a fair way off their 2011 despite the season already starting! #-o

15 NRL teams are ahead of the midgits today

16 if you consider 4500 of the Sharks 4600 members live in the area they represent
compared to 2500 for the Midgits
& when they get belted by 100 pts in their first 3 games .... don't expect anymore signs up this year
& expect about half the amount they have now .. this time next year when they go down in History as the worst VFL side in History

They still have weeks until they play their first game and will grow membership numbers substantially after their next few full games of practice games. Meanwhile the NRL have wlready started and won't grow much at all. Some of your clubs are way behind last year! The one who is way ahead is the broncos who are fudged by single game memberships  imagine if the GWS end up ahead of 6 or 7 NRL clubs in their first year!!

Where is this big catch up you were telling us about! #-o
