Plus, this is Sydney, RL heartland! The fact a new team playing a preseason game can outrate official NRL games shows the NRL is a laughing stock!

It would have been 10,000 you c.ockhead

they got more to 4 NRL club games because

it was mid year .... & a lowly placed sydney side playing a lowly placed out of town side
in pouring rain
in the middle of winter

if it had been 7c & raining on sat nite at blacktown
the crowd would have been

786 ...

Not even the eagles and dockers sold out their game, and they both get around 30-40k for non local derbies.

NAB cup games are practice and always have lower attendance. Yet the giants still beat some NRL games last year. Classic!!

He was referring to last year dopey!

For this year, well Izzy had a modest total of 3 hand passes and a number of free kicks against. There were a number of times where he was seen dropping the ball as well. I thought RL players could catch perfectly every time without mistake! :?

Oh yeah, that's right. That's only for 5 meters throws when completely uncontested!

Oh dear, Izzy went worse than I thought. I still have some hope but its fading fast.

The AFL spent 6 million on him didnt they?

Oh dear and how much has been lumped into the khunt experiment? The total could have paid for a lovely stadium in Darwin, but instead they've bought a pair of duds for promotion, which after seeing them play one game the novelty wears off and everyone thinks 'how dumb' and 'why?' :?

You still think the 'experts' down the AFL are clever Xman?

The fact we are talking about him again and again shows how clever they are. He is almost a weekly discussion point in the media and he hasn't even played an official game yet! To buy great media coverage like that would cost well over the fee he is paid that's for sure.

Yep, theyre very smart those AFL people.

I take this point, but you seem not to have listened to my second point regarding the novelty factor wearing off very quick. Imo this will have a counterproductive effect for the sport. I dont know whether you would be able to understand what I'm gettin at though Xman. You booked in for that labotomy yet?

The novelty hasn't worn off with the media yet. They are still printing stories about him, and KHunt almost weekly.

The fee both are paid has been more than covered by media exposure for th AFL.

Smart move really
