dare I say it .... it will be similar to the recent international turnip turners V Victoria game on the Gold Coast
couldn't sell a ticket
so they dropped freebies on the Coast.......... with a crop duster
& still only got 12K
so when Ticket sales end up being a bit sluggish for this giggleball game at ANZ
they'll start giving em away by the truck load
like they always so

Ah no peanut
you get 40K to a game at ANZ regardless of the weather ... then you've only sold about 35K tickets
not 70K required for a " sellout"
you'd need cyclone Yasi to deter 35K people who'd pre bought tickets to decide not to attend as a result of the weather
nice try
but as per usual ... a complete fail

Hence the bet should be whether or not it's a sell out.
Get it now? Or are you going to continue making stupid cowardly excuses to press a bet that is not possible to handle. No one at any betting agency would take your money in November! Only an idiot would predict a crowd number this far out!! And only an idiot would try and force it through cowardly baiting and abuse. You're as bad as KE, little boy. Grow up!!
I'm saying nothing else. It's been said.
What's this i hear? Oh dear, it's another tanty thrown by our number one tantrum puller TLPG. How dare you call
me the little boy, I'm not the one who goes crying to Beaussie aka 'Daddy' everytime I have a problem with one of your posts. I take it up personally with you
Ahem allow me to elaborate further
"I'm saying nothing else. It's been said". Please folks, if you havent already done so, take a mo' to picture a four year old brat in an umpires outfit with a blue whistle, arms folded in defiance saying "I'm not talking to you anymore!". Because this is really what we have here.
TLPG you cant help but return to the fightclub after your public atrocities of some months ago. Now either come back and dont give us this "I could not resist" / "I just had to address this" followed by the "I'm not saying anymore hmmpph" rubbish. Or pisssssss orrrrffff back to the boards which you have moderated into ghost towns.
ps, Who's the Champ of the arcade? I'm the Champ of the arcade!
Now to Beaussie and Raider. I think the pair of you need to work this out. I see a problem with Raiders bet as Beaussie could call a crowd of 78,000. And Raider calls it at 77,999. Bit of an unfair adavantage there with the numbers game. But this is really no different with Beaussie's sellout prediction vs Raiders no sellout prediction is it? What's the elephant in the room here folks? Comon out with it. Why no betty betty? At the end of the day I want to see this bet go down and want to see someone embarrassed.
p.s. TLPG, I'm the undisputed undefeated Champ mate, respect maa authoritaaa

no chance of me predicting a crowd like that E
which makes beaussies nervous reluctance to take me on even more Hilarious .... he's got his lacky trying to goad me
that peanut couldn't goad a duck to water
but surely beaussie knows I don't think it will be anywhere near a sellout
so whats he afraid of
my crowd ........... under 50K ( so obviously ... no sellout )
Beaussie .... take your skirt off & have a go ............

Well if that's the case you'll have no issue accepting my bet that the game will be a sellout. FFS, how stupid do you look when you post the above rubbish.

This is starting to piiisss me off. The pair of you are starting to remind me of floyd mayweather junior and manny pacquiao (pound for pound the best boxers in the world right now). Somethings going down and its hard to tell which one of you is scared to take the other on. Personally, I think Floyd Mayweather Junior is the scaredy cat in the boxing world.
I asked before and I'll ask again. What's the elephant in the room? At the moment I think the scaredy cat is too scared to come out, or it could in fact be both of you so I will build my own case.
Cases put forward so far:
1: Beaussie calls Raider the scaredy cat and vice versa. This is all based on the bet being about a crowd number, or whether it is a sellout.
2: We have the comedic experience of the surprise visit of our very own shamed ex fight club poster TLPG entering the fray screaming about the weather like some wild turkey with its nuts clamped in a vice. While humerous I cant say he's ever been right about the weather before and he looks to be completely off the chain again in this instance (search [TLPG - Darwin - Temperature] here on this site and you should see what I mean about his past illegitimate statements on weather).
3: King-Eliagh (Arcade Champ) steps in and suggests Raiders number bet may be unfair as he is asking for Beaussie's prediction first and by means of simple mathematics may gain an advantage by simply adding or taking away 1 from Beaussie's prediction, and aiming for the percentages. But as usual our very own Arcade Champ takes into account all perspectives and suggests that this is not really that different to Beaussies sellout vs no sellout bet.
4: Responding to the one and only All Time Greatest Arcade Champ, Raider steps in and predicts below 50,000 and states this is obviously not a sellout. By doing so he inevitably takes King-Eliagh the undefeated Arcade Champ's last concern somewhat out of the equation...
5: Beaussie returns asking for his original bet and appears somewhat insecure as he suggests Raider looks stupid when the pair of them are on fairly equal grounds in terms of how they look in this debacle.
So why is it that Beaussie wont go for the numbers game? Why Raider not happy with the sellout bet? So what have we to go on? Really not that much but my instincts and intellect are telling me that the elephant in the room has got to do with the venue. Has the venue been affirmed yet? And if the AFL dont see an 83,000 crowd coming will they change the venue to ensure a sellout at a venue of less capacity? Say one of "less than 50k"? Is this what you two are making yourselves look bad about? Out with it!

Good grief, you sound as dopey as Raider and that's saying something.
There is such a thing as a contract. The venue will be ANZ Stadium... it's booked and locked in already and will no doubt be a sellout as the first Sydney AFL derby. I originally said the game will be a sellout to which Raider said it wouldn't. I said wanna bet? He then brought up this stupid crowd numbers counter bet.
FFS, he says there is no hope in hell the game will be a sellout. So why the fear of taking my bet that it will be a sellout? Gutless wonder that's why ay Raider.

Beaussie enough of the taunts you silly clown! You are completely out of order and I have every right to pm TLPG about your libellous statement above... but I have thick skin so meh. Anyway I have asked questions, this is what intelligent folk do if they dont know the answers and to tell you the truth I could not be assed searching the net to find out whether there is a contract. I just want to get to the bottom of this and help you two shuuut the fukk up and get the bet on!
Otherwise your points are fairly valid Beaussie even though one would think why you would be so bothered about Raider's bet option if you thought it would be a sellout, as his prediction will be less than 50k... Even so, Raider I think you have the honus to spill the beans of clarity here as Beaussie did put the initial bet up as sellout vs no sellout. Why you no take that bet and offer oh so slightly different bet?

50k would clearly not be a sellout. Why the fear then from Raider in taking up my offer of a bet that the game will be a sellout? Gutless wonder.

I've already said it won't be a sellout .... about 15 times
& I've taken this bet to another level demonstrating I have balls the size of watermelons ( not literally as that would be quite uncomfortable

) compared to beaussie who has M&M's in his jocks
& heres why
I just take the bet & say ok no sellout
crowd ends up being 68K ( unlikely but for the purposes of this example ).... but not a sellout , but an impressive attendance anyway .... I still win , & will dance the merry dance all of 2012
no...... I back up my prediction with some real bravery & say it will be under 50K , a disaster for the AFL
so why can't beaussie just say
sellout & over 70K .... why beaussie .... why ?

Finally we seem to be getting somewhere without the constant to and froing of you two frothing at eachother. Ok as far as I can see the bets on - it's sellout vs no sellout. Raider I think it's a fine idea to include numbers to illustrate the size of one's gonads in all of this. But the bet to me seems to be agreed officially as sellout vs no sellout. The scores can be added as an interesting sidepoint. So all there is to settle is the wager...? I think an avatar wager would be good, the pair of you choosing what is most appropriate for the other for a period of time, I suggest at least one month or perhaps the whole season. But there must be more to this bet than just that, some sort of public humiliation would be fairly good. or you could go with dosh...I'll let the pair of you decide.
If mediation is needed I'm more than happy to step in and help once again.

What's this? Talking Footy's resident neanderthal racist dumb bogan child piping in with his usual trash. AFL 'Warrior', a hardcore heroin junkie would find you about as intellectual as their toe fungus. And I notice you've taken to clapping your own comments. Jolly good, but do tell me, do you do this all the time? Do you strut around that filthy trailer park you call home making comments belonging to the 18th Century and then after looking around...start clapping yourself?

I'm up for it. Sellout vs no sellout as I've always said. Avatar bet of our choice for an entire season plus cash if Raider has the guts to take on my challenge.
