Nice banter folks.
Beaussie you seem to do a lot of you're stupid or "how stupid are you" without illustrating why. My post on the GF's was perfectly reasonable. If you follow the code you watch the GF, prime time or not dumbo

I cant see why anyone can argue with this.

I would have thought that much was abundantly clear. For you clearly not, unless Raider says so. Why don't you two just get a room already. Nothing you put forward can be taken seriously considering when presented with facts, you choose Raider's spin over reality.

Alls I said was forget the prime time mumbo jumbo. And if you read back, that sir, was your "spin on reality". You came up with it, I said it meant jack diddly..and it does.
Borgidiom's input as per usual is completely irrelevant. Hey Borgidiom? Follow the thread bumbreath!
Now Beaussie, why dont you dial in your racist dumb bogan neanderthal buddy AFL 'Warrior' on this one, it pains me to say it but he may put up a more valid response than you

so you won .... one ratings battle all year
well done
the NRL won every other one

Ahh Beaussie my point is we are comparing GF vs GF. What I'm saying is timeslots do not mean anything when it comes to fans of any code watching the GF. Whether it was on in the afternoon or evening would make NO difference to the ratings in my opinion, simply because, its the GF or GPF in the AFL's case.
Your point above is quite simply pointless. Do you get it? Or do we need to call in dumb bogan?

What a load of crap from the usual NRL morons on this site. The AFL Grand Final reigns supreme and the rubbish NRL Grand Final is nothing compared to this. The NRL is supported by racists, bogans, unemployed bludgers and druggies.

How come the Mardi Gras town Sydney never has an NRL Grand Final parade like Melbourne does? That is because the majority of Sydney people don't give a stuff about the NRL. Sydney people find the Mardi Gras parade more interesting than a bunch of inbred racist rapist bogan trash players in the NRL parading down the street.

ah.... no sport on earth still has a " grand final parade "

except your backward , stuck in the 1960's joke of a sport :_<>
the AFL Grand final barely beat ours in the ratings in Australia
it should have smashed it
it didn't , it was an embarrasing result for flogball

Yes embarrassing result and really when you add the new zealanders who have a team in the NRL, then the NRL won the ratings right? By a hefty margin.
I guess we could say the NRL is like an empire, very powerful and covering many lands. The AFL is great but its limited to one nation and because of this it can often attract dumb bogan racists like AFL 'Warrior'.

Just another area of marketing where the AFL rules supreme.
Credit should go to radio 2gb host Chris Smith, who after experiencing yesterday’s AFL Grand Final parade in Melbourne questioned why the NRL also doesn’t have a similar day of rejoicing and chest beating.
I thought the idea could be explored further here.
Melbourne came to a stand still yesterday as St Kilda and Collingwood were driven through the city soaking up the adulation of their fans and the abuse of others.
The AFL logo and those of their sponsors were splashed everywhere and the merchandise sales went into overdrive.
The whole event is geared toward telling the country how good the AFL is. How invaluable is that exposure when the league goes to attract the corporate dollar?
I can’t help but feel the NRL and Sydney are missing a huge opportunity to show the best of themselves.
Would the NRL be accused of copying the AFL? Yes, definitely, but who cares!
The AFL is the bigger brother in this country

you actually think the AFL Grand Final parade is cool ?
it is an embarrasment .... one of the daggiest ... nerdy things a so called modern sport could possibly do
why do you think there is not a sport on earth that still does this except the silly little oddity from the Sthn Part of Australia
a post grand final parade for the winner for sure
but WTF is going on with one before the game
seriously .. it is weird

Our grand final parade demonstrates why the fans and corporates of Australia absolutely love our game. The broadcast rates it's tits off too winning its timeslot as is the norm for the AFL. You lot just wish you could steal another idea from us for your failing code.

Hmm, those same Victorians that you lot are desperate to see half fill AAMI Park for Storm games. Yeah ok, that attitude you lot take towards Victorians is not helping.
