Swans membership is now 40786 - that's almost 10k more than Sth Syd (30965) and 21000 more than powerhouse club Paramatta (19414). Still the biggest!

About 8k not that it's relevant I don't think there would be a single FC whose members live exclusively in their area - that's the reality of modern society people move around, I for one grew up in Manly but live in Melbourne yet my membership is interstate - so it's not really relevant.leeroy*NRL* wrote:Swans4ever wrote:Swans membership is now 40786 - that's almost 10k more than Sth Syd (30965) and 21000 more than powerhouse club Paramatta (19414). how many of those swans / south Melbourne members are from Melbourne

just a question.. not an attack..

no you just dont and keep looking for but but excuses to why the NRLOL clubs memberships and support levels are so pathetic.leeroy*NRL* wrote:They just don't understand about leagues clubs.. (full Stop)
they don't understand that there can be thousands of supporters in one on game day.
all 8 thousand supporters on Grand Final day at Canterbury leagues..
funny that isnt it thickshitno1, the swans have the highest football revenue, highest sponsorship revenue, highest crowds & memberships yet the ratings don't reflect this? the swans get by far the best turn out week in week out, earn the most in sponsorship yet all you can go back to is the ratings? if sponsors want to spend millions on a club, to have their product seen why do most of them go the swansParraEelsNRL wrote:Swans will have higher memberships than tv ratings in Sydney, as usual. Funny that, a lot of pets **** the farmbase, plenty of kitty cats, budgies, dogs and little piggies.
Obviously speculation on your part because the AFL doesn't allow pet memberships to be counted. And Sydney's Rv ratings are no worse than Melb Storm - furthermore you make no allowances for paytv. Sounds like sour grapes Para that your leviathan club only gets fans to watch when for free - but won't dip into their pockets! Once again still the biggest!ParraEelsNRL wrote:Swans will have higher memberships than tv ratings in Sydney, as usual. Canterbury Leagues for example.
Firstly. Like leagueiscrap said. Leagues club membership fees are like 5 - 10 dollars. They also offer much more then NRL. And believe me, many of those leagues club members cross clubs in Sydney don't actually follow NRL.
Such a poor excuse for reason of low membership figures across NRL clubs in Sydney
ohh boy,
I wasn't comparing the two memberships at all.
I was simply stating, the way fans contribute to there club,
by going to the leagues clubs for event or drinks or dinners.
then some of this money is distributed to the footy clubs..
that's all I was stating...
going to a league club is exactly like the surf life savers or RSL club, its a membership you have to pay for, before you can enter
Umm I know that..
im talking about

People know of this, that I what they go to the leagues clubs
because they know the funds are distributed to the club
its there way of contributing
