Yes - it’s a big windfall for the AFL all the same. I reckon they’ll play a rl game there at some stage / maybe an origin.
Suncorp corners of the top tier on each four corners have the ability to Seat 2k to 3k seats (that is approx 12k seats
to the 52.000 capacity.. bringing it to around 62k approx stadium
with little to not much renovations or changing of the stadium, the roof would be slightly changed etc.
i do not see SOO being played on an Oval when the atmosphere and Suncorp generate is insane levels.
and capacity could be identical on a rectangle and crowd nice and close like they are on top of you
Well there you go! No tears or tantrums needed about Olympic committee having to redesign there plans and stadium dementions of what they have used for the past 100 plus years to suit the NRL demand for a large Rectangular venue that would be filled 1 to 2 times a year

I do not think NRL would of got the Stadium Upgrade over the line, so i recan PVL Blinked
but overall got a good deal.

I do not think NRL would of got the Stadium Upgrade over the line, so i recan PVL Blinked
but overall got a good deal.

the stadium will get an upgrade without question .... eventually
just no announcement in the short term

I think there may be triggers listed - like getting an average crowd size over 5 years etc. or it may happen if nrl agree to fund a certain amount. Who knows?

I reckon there may be something like having a gather round in WA - they would go nuts of having it there - would create media awareness like you’ve never seen - and be good for wa tourism.
