Wookie explained it just like I have. Every AFL game bar 1 per round is shown to only part of the country. Imagine how the NRLs aerage would plummet if Thursday night was shown to Brisbane and perth, while Friday nigh was shown to Sydney and melbourne.

Friday night is the only AFL game per round which is shown nationally on FTA, where as every NRL FTA game is shown nationally. Therefore, the logical comparison of FTA games is Friday night.

Its like me claiming the AFL dominates Saturday night's TV ratings when the AFL have FTA games while the NRL is on fox only. You'd complain no doubt, which would be fair enough, as its a poor comparison. However by your complaint would all be spin and lies.

I've already commented on that. The AFL choose to do it that way to boost there ratings. Doesn't help them though.

Fair dinkum you're a dill Caitlan X......Man. You're the brain surgeon who said RL hasn't got a ratings increase they've just had a scheduling change. All this spin and lying is about scheduling........."but but but imagine if we did it this way.......we'd get even more".

So RL's increased ratings is a nothing because of scheduling but rabble ball is disadvantaged because it's scheduling could be better. You can't have it both ways Caitlan........woops.......then again......well.....you do I spose Caitlan........LOLOLOLOL.... [-X [-X [-X

The bottom line is the ratings are the ratings are the ratings. They are factual, everything you say is spin and lies to downgrade RL and upgrade rabble ball.

The facts say RL has more viewers per game than rabble ball. The facts say after 7 rounds in a game to game comparison rabble ball has only 1.3 million more viewers in total despite the fact RL had 7 less games.

Now......off to the ol' Joe Goebbels play book for you Caitlan. What spin ya gonna come back with?????

Mal, you twat, i nver said the nrls ratings haven't increased, i merely explained it as the result of schedule changing. If that offends you bad luck.

I really love how you say rating are ratings, yet then go on to make excuses. Lol

Finally an admission.....albeit screaming, kicking, cussing, hissing and spitting. It must feel good Caitlan X......Man to tell the truth occasionally. You don't have to keep looking over your shoulder, you don't lay awake at night thinking someone is gonna catch you out. It's a good feeling isn't Caitlan........you should try it more often!!!!!

Lets Just say, A Broncos vs Melbourne on Thursday night. LIVE ON FTA
live in QLD live into Victoria.
and the rest of the country got to see it on FOX

it would still be a big figure, not as big as across the country figure on FTA but still big

AFL do it all the time, crows on FTA into Adelaide
West Coast on FTA into Perth..

and the people in other states can watch it on FOX if they have it.

and at the same time there got a Richmond v Swans game for the Eastern markets on FTA
and also on FOX

see there is good and bad in this.

If the NRL did what the AFL did

3pm game for Example Gold coast v Storm
Live into QLD live in Victoria FTA and Fox rest of country

5:30pm Parramatta v Cowboys
Live into QLD Live in NSW on FTA FOX rest of country

7:30pm Sharks v Tigers
Live into NSW on FTA FOX rest of country

the figures would be massive.
instead of 250k -300k odd You would be looking at 800k -1million per game for the 3 games on Saturday

no, finally it has sunk through your dense cranium that I admitted the NRL ratings had increased. I said it weeks ago but you just couldnt comprehend it. However the increase is due scheduling changes, and still places the NRL behind the AFL

RL is behind in aggregate but in front on averages. I would say by the end of the season with adding in SOO and internationals RL will be well in front on both measures.

Now over to you Caitlan X......Man to bring in the spin and lies. Dill........LOLOLOLOL

If the NRL showed a game on FTA to QLD and VIc theyd get 450k max, including regionals.

The way the AFL schedule Saturday and Sunday sometimes benefits ratings, and sometimes it reduces it. It happened a few weeks ago when melbourne got Carlton v nobody, while Adelade played Sydney. The fox ratings for the Ad v Syd game were 3 times the Carlton game showing the majority of Australia preferred this game. The ratings would have been far better if the Ad v Syd game was shown nationally

isnt what you just said spin? You just ignore the lead the AFL has over the NRL.

Sure, your SOO games will rate highest, just like the olympics dominate ratings on the odd occasion theyre on. But league v league the AFL smashes the NRL in crowds, ratings, memberships and revenue :thumbleft:

Yes Caitlain I agree......I think the Olympics are like SOO too......they both just totally dominate when they're showing.........nothing can compete. Luckily for RL SOO is on every year not one in four years.......and it has 3 games per year......now that's domination!!!!

Now the bad news.....it's another lie to say rabble ball smashes RL in ratings.......it simply does not. Some years they are close.....but there is never a smashing. By the end of this year I predict RL will win both the aggregate and average ratings.

It actually does Mal. Look at the top rating shows this year. The AFL is well ahead of the NRL, well ahead. Already the AFL has had a home and away game that hasnt been eclipsed by any home and away game, this year or any year.

And SOO is like the Olympics. Millions tune in to patriotic 'events' watching sports they barely know the rules to, that for the rest of the year they have little to no interest in.
