It should rate well.
Last night's game was between two struggling teams, neither of which had won any of their previous games. Newcastle are absolutely atrocious, A league season 1 quality at the moment, so they'll struggle on and off the field this season.

newcastle are the canberra raiders of the a-league when it comes to tv ratings...think that's the best analogy for that.,..
they're superior in every other facet though

No, I've never seen the Canberra Raiders with 3 digit crowds like Newcastle and Canberra sokka have in their histories or 2 figure digit ratings on Nation wide Television that most A league sokka clubs get weekly no matter how poor they are on or off the field.

5 different a-league teams that have had at least 1 sub 10k crowd you say?
what does that mean for the 10 nrl clubs that achieved that same feat?-including your mighty eels!- not to mention for the nrl, 5 of those were achieved in the first 6 rounds....
