sorry, the TV rights were 1.3 billion. Doesn't really matter since NRL is 2 hours, AFL 3 hours. so you need 1.5x the media rights to be more valuable. also i hear there's more stoppages allowing for more ads. and you play a few more games, but that's not really a big factor.

fun fact: NZ could become another state of Australia if they voted in favour of it. Australia would have no say in the matter in that case. It's in the constitution cause we gave them an open invitation to join.
