you utter cock
News won't pull out til theres a buyer
& this new buyer will put exactly the same resources ( maybe more ) .. into the Storm
Australias best Football Team on field ... the Melbourne Storm
will remain just this .... for the forseeable future
smell the fear

Idiot, of course they won't pull out without a buyer. Stew never said they would. But what buyer will pay 2m per year for a team during huge success? News had a motive. Which independant company will want to make a huge loss on the storm every year?

VFL..

hmmmmm , not so much

one team for a country of 4m =D> =D>
What's their average for a season? They seem to always have a decent first game then their crowds drop to epically low levels.
its funny isn't it
the Warriors get watched by up to 150K people out of 4 million in NZ when they play
& that shows apparently theres no interest
the Swines get watched by 1/3 of that number ..... out of nearly 5 Million people
& thats just dandy

shows the level of cockheadiness where dealing with here folks

All I did was quote an article from 4 years ago Dave. Not sure how you think i would know outside of news reports
The most recent article states news still put in about 2 mil per year of their own money. Who's going to want to buy a business that loses money?

This. Didn't they get 40k last year or the year before to their opening match?

Well it looks like the suns will win the crowd battle on the GC. The crowd for the titans looks a few thousand at best
This from LU:
I know it's an early start (1pm) and its rather warm (beach weather) but gee it's a terrible crowd on the Gold Coast.
Seriously they cannot tell us their is more then 5,000 there.
This is my favourite:
This is going to be the most interesting crowd announcement so far this year. There is no one there.

I won't say anything, I'll just paste some quotes from LU:
@LeagueWeek Crowd: 12,267 #NRLgldcan
Farcical.
Absolute bullshit. The Titans flat out lie about their crowd figures.

And we gear up for another year of Titans crowds being fudged.
LOL at the Arse Raiders not scoring! Another nRL blowout.
Good thing not many people would have seen it as Canberra is hidden from FTA TV.

Oh dear, 9k for the western Sydney local derby of tigers v panthers! And on a perfect sunny Sunday afternoon!
Less than the giants averaged last year, and most games of their games were against interstate teams! Less than the giants memberships!
This is just too funny!
Dave, Dave where for art thou Dave?

How blind are you, you ******** ******! Other nRL fans have for long claimed that Titans crowds are BS, nRL clubs have been caught out bullshitting about crowds and the Storm CEO even came out and admitted nRl clubs regularly fudged crowds!
You can't trust that dirty league.
