About time we officially declared the war over yeah?

Suns clearly victorious with more members, crowds, sponsorship and most importantly $$$ posting a profit in their first season.

Meanwhile the Titans... hmm, lets not go there.

Gold Coast = AFL heartland

the Thuns have considerably less members then 2011
& haven't even started fumbling , bumbling & missing in 2012 infront of what will almost certainly be quite paltry crowds ..............
another season near the bottom for them
& 2013 is gunna be quite grim

the Titans have played 2 games at home ..one in constant rain on the graveyard shift of kickoff times ...5.30pm
they have a host of big games to come

this war won't be called til probably 2014

by then the Titan .. cashed up & winning again ..will have triumphed

Saturday looked pretty nice on the tv weather wise. The offer of free tickets, a plea from the club to attend games, and an opposition with NRL stars resulted in a crowd of 11k (which again looked more like 6k). #-o

The Suns will easily have the titans covered in crowds this year.plus they have far more members and s significantly better stadium deal. as they start to win games the members and crowds will grow.

The winning code on the GC has already been decided. The question now is how long the financial basket case in the titans can survive for.

Yet still thousands more members than the Titans.

Will still get much bigger crowds than the Titans without the need to fudge crowd numbers.

Saturday was fine with free tickets on offer for everyone in attendance. Result another embarrassingly low crowd with the numbers inflated/fudged again.

Face facts, the Titans are stuffed and the war is over. You lot lose.

Yet still thousands more members than the Titans.
yet still thousands less then last year ... 2013 to have thousands less again
the Titans will be ahead of them at this rate in a year or 2
Will still get much bigger crowds than the Titans without the need to fudge crowd numbers.
I'd doubt it .... interest already wanning .. & a few beltings will see crowds end up being quite embarrasing for the Thuns
quite embarrasing indeed

Sat's game was played in constant rain ... at a bad time to draw a big crowd .. end of story.

you're the one who needs to face facts .. it is in fact the Thuns who are stuffed
the Titans are on the up
NRL wins again

Dave, can I call you Dave ? I want to be your friend.
I have yet to meet a person who is so eternally optimistic and always sees the the positive side of things.
I rogue asteroid could be targetting planet Earth and Dave would simply say "good opportunity to buy some cheap real estate" or "let's go to the beach because the surf will be huge". Yes, I'd like Dave on my side.
Those Raiders' jumpers look so good without all that nasty advertising on them - don't they!
So Dave, the last Canberra crowd was how big ?

A number of the Suns memebers last year were AFL fans from other states who were supporting their start. SHame your code has no idea about this support! These fans were always going to drop off when they saw the Suns were progressing nicely.
The titans game was not in constant rain you liar!

If the Suns are stuffed the Titans are a complete joke, oh wait.........

Just by way of update, the Suns are now leading the 2013 attendance race with the Titans:

Titans: 13,869
Suns: 14,007

Titans have 1 home match remaining (against high-drawing Warriors), while the Suns have 2 home games remaining (against minnows Melbourne and GWS). Suns won 2011, Titans pegged one back in 2012, the race for 2013 bragging rights is heating up.

Imagine an AFL heartland team being neck and neck with an nRL expansion team. I can't either lol.
