The giants have more members than the Cronulla gummy sharks, wests tiggers (even after their merger) and the canberra tax payer raiders!

Hmmm
Ah.. no
In Sydney. ..
They dont even have more members then the Sydney swifts

:_<>
Yep what ever dribbler!
A new start up team in the Giants that can bearly win a game has more members more people that care about the club, than the some nrl clubs in their own heart land that have been around for decades

That really is pathetic for the NRLOL! !!
But what else do you expect

GWS will start a winning habit in 2015. And when they do, the earthquake will rock the AFL.

A mate of mine, Chris, was born in Western Sydney and raised at Mulgoa, near Penrith NSW. A life-long Panthers supporter who has only been to one Aussie rules game in his life (Swans v Geelong, SCG, 2013), he surprised the heck out of me today. He phoned me to tell me he has just signed up as a member of GWS Giants.
Crikey! Floored me good and proper, he did!

well
the VFL may well rig their comp further to see this occur in the next 5-10 years
& the Swines with no COLA will slide away back to their mid 90's level of popularity ... 9K crowds & TV audiences not much bigger
difference will be this
the Swines had the fortune of being based in yuppie central in eastern Sydney.
a large portion of their fan base that aren't ex pat sthn dribblers are local trendy up themselves wankers who believe league is beneath them & would not attend an NRL game even if their children's lives were at stake. They don't know a thing about the fumbles n derpies , nor do they give a fuck about it or the Swines
the SCG is a place for them to be seen & update their facebook status .... Hi guys .. at the Sydney Swifts game#baaawwwllllll

>
these people do not exist in Western Sydney
they will rarely stray west past the ANZAC Bridge for any reason
so.....
even with manipulated ... rigged ... on field success
the Midgets are doomed
enjoy

Went with a bunch of Sydney friends to the Hawthorn vs Sydney game at the G on Saturday night. Two of those friends being die hard South Sydney supporters (not members) couldn't get over the size of the crowd and atmosphere at the G and have now decided they are joining the Swans as members. Will never forget one of them saying... "you never see crowds this loud and passionate in the NRL, this is amazing". They absolutely loved the footy once seen live like many other thousands no doubt in Sydney this season. Can't forget Sunday also whilst having breakfast and reading the Herald Sun, one of my friends asks for the sport section and NRL news. Findings were a tiny article down side of page on melbourne's very own storm and rest of page taken up by Waratahs making Super Rugby final. Rest all AFL plus front and back pages. Was so funny.
Yep add another two rugby league fans to the Sydney Swans membership base. So glad I could assist with their transition to real footy. More $$$ in Swans/AFL coffers.

Yeah man, it must be, a whole 23k turned up for their first game of the season after you gloated that it would be a cracker and go close to selling out.
