i quit dickbrain. it had nothing to do with you or anyone else.
Now, back to the eels crowd. Again, mother's day explains a decrease, not a horrendous crowd like 10k

Ive admitted mothers day is a factor. I just cannot see how it results in 10k for a club some claim is as big as Collingwood

I don't think that was his point Wookie - GWS got 13k Eels got only 10k GWS had Hawthorn - Eels had Storm both quality clubs - even if Mother's Day the NRL would be concerned with the crowd non the less! As for Carlton giving away two for one all codes do that I don't see it as something to criticise a code for just marketing.

Just for you because you're not too smart .
In Canb there is other opposition .
Other teams to support .
IN Tas when Aflol teams play ,please tell me what is the opposition sport to take crowds away ?
In Canberra, interest in AFL is growing strongly. Just compare Raiders and Giants attendances at Bruce and Manuka Stadia.
Furthermore, the ACT is feeding players into the AFL system from their four tier-2 clubs. In 2014, Jack Steele drafted to the Giants, Logan Austin and Dougal Howard drafted to Port Adelaide.
Crapper, try and understand: NRL fails to expand outside NSW/ QLD/ACT/NZ/POLYNESIA. And NRL is losing ground to AFL within NSW/ACT and QLD.

The fumbles n bumbles is near dead in yr nations capital wanker :_<>
Only ex pat sthn dribblers or their weedy offspring embarras themselves with it here
The Raiders smallest crowd this year here is bigger then the midgets largest crowd in Canberra
& we have 3 Times the ACT based members & this coming off 2 decades of indifferent form.
& of course
Thats just the Raiders.. no Dragons fans.. Parra fans .. Bulldogs.. Tigers etc etc
While just about every little weedy fumbler there is in the ACT gets out to watch the midgets because thats the only opportunity to watch the bumbling crap live

Indeed RL is the sport of choice in Canberra & surrounds
the top 4 TV shows in Canberra each year are RL games .. the VFL never gets a spot in the top 20
Union if theyre lucky might get 1
&
That lesson was free you deluded ******

True, but ex cockhead will disagree.
another lame excuse by an NRL fan
It explains a lower than expected crowd, not something as dire as 10k though. Even the Giants beat that
Did they play on mothers day fucktard ?

Fumblers = wankers

After 9 rounds, NRL crowds are down from 16,996 (2014) to 15,845 (2015).
Seems disenchanted fans are still walking away from the game.
Read about it here if you haven't already:
