So we will never know the actual ratings overall? Well any discussion on ratings and who is “winning” is pointless than?

Yeah, sadly I guess that is true.

Even with free to air a lot of the AFL tv ratings are not available with split scheduling and broadcasts in different cities.

It’s a lot of guesswork for us fans, but the broadcasters would know the exact details with reach, minutes watched, averages and detailed demographics, hence why they’ve always paid the AFL more than the NRL.

have we got breakdowns for Brisbane v Collingwood in BRISBANE ?
also
Brisbane v Canterbury in Brisbane ?

good to see a comparison on FTA
Very rare to see any FTA metro numbers these days.

STV figures basically non-existent too.
annoying makes it less fun

we only get little bits here and there,
every so in awhile they will publish averages and minutes reached
and some weekend or big games ratings.

that is what we got last year and its the same this year.
we just got to wait abit..

end of year you will get a good summary of things

honest opinion mate.. hard to predict yes..

now that we know the NRL will have 19 teams in 2028 (2 new markets)

what do you think the NRL will achieve in 2028 to 2032 in tv value Annually and total ?

WA and PNG arent exactly going to bring in billions of extra dollars in the new broadcast deal
