This year is going to be the biggest flogging ever handed out!! RL is absolutely smashing the fumbling game in every aspect of tv ratings. FTA, Fox, Kayo, bvod.

so the fumblers put on their biggest game in weeks , maybe months ...
2 big Melbourne giggleball clubs , both in the hunt for top 4 births

tbf the NRL had a big clash on offer too , its GF rematch , the struggling Broncos & Panthers who are also a gear down on their best form atm.

who won ?

why the NRL , they're winning everything atm
giggleball 708K FTA
NRL 659K

NRL about 1.250 mill with stv
AFL about 1.2 mill

we can't be beaten

interesting the NRL are looking at adding Perth in 2027 ( 1 year left in tv deal)
Would create a extra game and negotiations to tv deal. (NRL try pump it up )

Would expect a Total redo of Tv rights once team is announced

Perth is the right choice. Plenty of money in the west. Plenty of eastern staters, Poms and Kiwi's live there that will follow a team. Plus it will be much easier to get players to live and play in WA rather than PNG. Infact I would say PNG will only get a team if the Govt sticks to its pledge of supplying $600M to fund it. It doesn't really make sense in any other way.

Agree - I have been saying Perth was the logical choice for many years - they even have a bit of grassroots there which has been growing. I also think Perth will get on board but they will have to be winning as can be very fickle (a bot like gold coast) but love anything that is winning (look at their soccer team and what happened).

Perth will give broadcasters a bit more flexibility in the schedule for our 9th game with more games at later times for eastern TV viewers , but at attendance friendly times in Perth.

Its a win win

another 1.2 million sets of eyes on the NRL last night
628K FTA
pretty attractive game too , the Dolphins continue to defy everyone & push for a finals birth in Year 2

fox box ?
bvod , kayo ?

im seeing them every other week
weirdly its foxtel ratings not being released these days but i saw somewhere that they're now about 80% of the streaming number for both codes these days , so can get rough estimates for total viewers

ratings for Sunday
the NRL 465K on FTA for their one game of the day , just under a mill total viewers

The stumbles & misses numbers were as per usual ... ordinary as
440K on FTA ... but that was the total for 3 games shown in every capital during the day
QLD & SA got the early game
middle game in NSW & VIC
the 3rd game in WA & QLD

sheesh :hmm:
thats bog average 8-[

theres no legit reason to not release all STV ratings , other then the drops & oopsies being embarrassed by the hiding they're copping from the NRL , & or foxtel themselves being embarrassed what they're paying for that bumbling crap based on ratings     :(/ :(/

If i were the NRL i would go to FOX and Ch9 and say You want the NRL ? Equal the AFL tv Deal and than Add Inflation plus 10% on top
for your 20 team League NRL COMP

otherwise we go to market.
