Ah yeah that's not what i said. In reality I like both sports, and will continue to watch and enjoy both sports. They're both equally as popular to me, and it doesn't matter to me if they weren't. I don't see where he said they rated equally. He said they are equally as popular which is a fair call as ratings are only one measure of popularity.

Considering I thought the AFL would win the finals comparison easily I do have to eat some humble pie on this so far. Even if it turns to be a small win to AFL like the current lead to NRL, I would still have to concede not a great win and well done to the NRL on a great finals series. I am looking forward to Super Saturday this weekend, with Storm followed by the AFL Grand Final.

the quality of matches helps during finals...

AFL final series this year i recan has def not hit the quality of previous finals series bar 2 matches.
over the past 10 years for example I would say the AFL has had better match ups
and Big Melbourne Games that rate there socks off...

with AFL generally winning AFL Finals.
