Still a million dollar game for the NRL

We are fully aware of that, and its the reason you get good money. But we do command the East coast Our regional areas make almost as much from advertising as Adelaide and Western Australia combined. we have gotten the top programs these past few years on FTA. Very Dominate on PTV were advertising isn't really an issue. We have come along way since the ARLC took over and we will go a lot further!The_Wookie wrote:Actually we've been saying this shit all along - longer games with more advertising and better ratings than you idiots have ever given the AFL credit for given the almost total lack of reported AFL regionals - like they just dont exist because they dont qualify for thinktvs cutoff points or something, but now you fuckwits want to trot out new excuses so here we are.leeroy*NRL* wrote:Xman wrote:the NRL may win the ratings tally for 2016, but what does it mean?leeroy*NRL* wrote:Xman wrote:ahhh fellas, keep telling yourself that. If the AFL rate what they did last year on most FNs they will win most of the FNs this year. Plus they easily win Sunday afternoon again and again.
What have you got left? SOO I suppose
your Monday afternoon game won the ratings..
and your point is.??
the NRL will win the overall ratings for the year..
like they do every year![]()
and the crowds will be between 15k and 16k avg for the year.
We have 9 games per round, 1 more on FTA, yet you have a longer season, you include rep games, we only have about 100 'exclusive' games shown to each city per year, you have around 200, our games average over 3 hours, yours over 2, etc etc
the vastly different scheduling for both codes means a total comparison is pretty meaningless. It pretty much boils down to who earns the most cash from their ratings.
Yes I know there are differences in scheduling..
we may have a longer season by 3 weeks.
but when including our rep games
the games amount is identical.
Fact NRL season games 201 + 3 SOO + 2 Aus v NZ games on Avg = 206
Fact AFL Season games 206
yes the AFL got more in Tv rights, but its not hard to see why..
1 hour game longer, 70% more advertising..
did u watch last nights game the Second half had 2 adverts
in AFL including 3/4 time and adverts in 2 quarters
would be well over 30 adverts
lol and you wonder why you get a touch more money![]()
you should be getting a Billion Dollars more

are you going off a table that is missing this year's regional figures?eelofwest wrote:Xman wrote:We've had 1 FN game.....you've had 5, and none of them were nearly as high. Add to that Perth, our second biggest market, were watching the game at 4.50pm on a workday.
