Now if we disregard that, does that mean we can disregard smaller figures - often below 4,000 in SA for the NRL?
I maintain
7000 people in Sydney would barely watch a VFL game in the middle of the day that didn't involve the swines
for anyone to suggest that many watched a derpball state game
at
2.30 in the morning
is in need of medical attention

So we shouldnt believe the ratings system then?
do you think it was an oddly large figure for that city .. at that time of night ?
as I said
the world famous Melbourne suburbs of Collingthorn ... Richenwood .... & errrr

whats another one
Essenmond
they can barely get that many in prime time in Sydney
on what planet then would anyone think 7000 is achievable for a state league game at 2.30am
& ....that's right
its not

so dave are you calling the ratings system inaccurate and floored
well when you add up
the NRL has, low crowds, low membership, low revenue club and league, low sponsorship.
there are a big chance that they are

Having just returned from South Australia on the weekend, it's abundantly clear Rugby League is non-existent. No where to be seen or heard about. AFL on the other hand is everywhere and wow, how good is the Adelaide Oval for footy?
I once remember Dogs trying to tell us all here in TFC of the existence of RL grounds. I joked with KE (yep old mate flew over to watch the Swans take on Port) that Dogs must be on drugs as again, we could not see any existence of RL in Adelaide. Way to go NRL, if only you had of given the Adelaide Rams a chance.

Dumbo The gift that keeps on giving..
No one claimed that RL was kicking arse in SA...So that fucks your argument up..
this thread is about RL being dead in SA.
Parra showed that that is crap.
There is a SA team playing.
Do any of you fumblers deal in reality?.
Do any of you have a logical thought process,or have any comprehension skills.
Your posts would suggest NO.

Rl is to South Australia as Aussie rules is to the USA.

why because they can find 17 people from SA or apparently from SA in city of state of 1.6 million to form a league team
spazza NRL/ league is dead in SA

because spazza has lost another argument,
just because some rugby league comp could find 17 people to form a league side in SA a state of 1.6 million crapper thinks NRL is alive and kicking

Dumbo ,can you show me where I said it is "Alive & Kicking".
The claim was made that it was DEAD.
When a team from SA plays in a RL carnival then its not dead.
Logic is not your strong point.
Go have another drink..
Back ti the drawing board old son.

Again rl in South Australia would be akin to Aussie rules in Fiji. If that.
