My understanding is that some members did go to games at BISS. The NEAFL isn't the AFL but at least some members took an interest in some of the young players the Giants were developing. I heard also that some figured that Israel Folau would make a surprise debut. The rumour never stuck though because there was no media coverage. If he had of debuted, the media would have grabbed it with both hands and done a full page spread on it.

No, the evidence was for the rabbitohs who had an unusually hi proportion of non ticketed members. You claimed the AFL do the same without evidence. You were given ample time to find evidence and failed. Your claims were deleted as originally threatened.

You've been warned about complaining about mods on the forum. There's a process for that and this isn't it!

Show us why the rabbitohs are claiming such a high non ticketted number first. Otherwise the membership number claimed still looks suspicious.

I tend to agree with you. The rabbitohs non ticketed to ticketted proportion seems 'suspect' in my opinion, but there is no support for a claim of fudging for the NRL overall. Therefore the claim of the thread title has not been supported by facts.

However, your claim that the AFL do the same as the Rabbitohs has not been proven either.

Hang on, Xman, how do we know that other NRL clubs aren't doing the same thing as Souths? We have no evidence either way, so at present it would be reasonable in the absence of evidence that other NRL clubs could be doing the same thing. Remember that the NRL is not a membership buying culture. The AFL on the other hand is, which is why the claim carries zero weight.

It shows that the total memberships for the NrL last year were 180k and less than 40k were unticketted.
