aparently millions on millions watch them on TV yet they just can't seem to get many people buying their memberships

never said it doesn't include pet membership. but the AFL did clamp down on it a while ago.
i even pointed out the revenue raised by each club through their memberships

i claimed the NRL membership numbers are even more pathetic with the pet memberships included

The league's boss of AFL clubs and AFL operations, Travis Auld, told Fairfax Media that membership figures across the competition were approximately 5 per cent up on the same time last year.
