i even pointed out the revenue raised by each club through their memberships

i claimed the NRL membership numbers are even more pathetic with the pet memberships included

Even before the 2015 season's first bounce, the AFL is confident its 18-club competition will set a membership record this year to extend a 14-year run of benchmarks.

The league's boss of AFL clubs and AFL operations, Travis Auld, told Fairfax Media that membership figures across the competition were approximately 5 per cent up on the same time last year.
