Tell me numbnuts, they average 15k, they have massive sponsors inboard, they have millionaire private owners who bought a stake using the Storm to buy a piece of the Melbourne heart, they have always rated well on TV in NSW and QLd where most of the population lives, they are consistently one of the highest rating teams from any sport out here on Pay TV each week. Their tv ratings in Victoria are steadily growing year after year since channel 9 started showing them a couple of times a year.

You are in denial and it burns you that the Melbourne Storm have proved the likes of you wrong by staying put and steadily growing year after year.

the storm were averaging in the 8k range back when they were a meddling midtable side. they're pretty much an exact replica of the heart

with the big 3 all getting older and losing their form

no doubt we shall see the storm return to those dark days

their fans have been fortunate and spoilt to have had a winning team, essentially for the last 8 years...now that's is finished

the trend only started going upwards when they started winning minor premierships and premierships

it coincides with the emergence of their first big 3

now that slater is over the hill and smith nearly past his peak and bellamy moving on, their fans aren't going to be spoilt anymore and will watch their team go through a dry patch akin to davey's raiders

crowds will drop and they'll be behind the 2 soccer clubs and maybe even the rebels if they're not too careful
