what do you mean by overlapping? by how much? were they fully concurrent games like the AFL have for 8 of their 9 games?

so 22 NRL games for the entire year are shown concurrently?

Compare that to 8 out 9 AFL games per round.

what?

look at last Saturdays results. Your two concurrent games added up to the total of your normal single games ratings.

More proof your list is a load of shite.

I really think the whole foundation of your argument Xman is on shaky grounds... =D>

You are comparing concurrent games during the Olympic games, these sort of low ratings for the NRL and AFL are because of the Olympics and nothing else.

So your whole argument is based on Factors witch occur once every 4 years.....

no its not. Both codes rated about the same, 300k, when both concurrent payTV games were added together.

In previous weeks the NRL has rated up to high 300s for single 7.30 games and the AFLs concurrent games have added to near the same amount and even higher.

Do The Maths. You'll find the NRL win and win very well in those particular rounds on all but 1 or 2 ocassions. But whats new

NRL Pay TV kings...
Thats nice work there eels, and quite convincing. But the reason for the NRLs advantage is obvious. Subscription rates in NSW and QLD are still far higher than in AFL states and will continue to be while AFL fans get far better FTA coverage. It will certainly even out if the NRL get a better FTA deal next year because subscriptions will likely fall. 2 hour v 3 hour tellecast lengths will also have a big effect given the ratings are shown as averages and not peak.
King-Eliagh: ...I believe [RL] is popular in all the other states and territories, bar tasmania.

You know what is funny about you xman?

You have proof staring you right in the face and you still cant see.

Pusscats ptv list and my PTV concurrent ratings clearly show NRL is king on Pay TV but you still cant get it.....

I totally agree with pookus.
The fact that you believe that your opinion is more informed than a current day league player who was at the club in question says a lot about you as a man.You wont hear from me about this again because obviously you have the answers lol.Your an AFL apologist and you embarass me as an AFL devotee. Local football is community AFL is business.
Really you are embarrassing your AFL fans on this forum.
