what are you on about? the NRL was shown in isolation on Fox sports2. It got 260k

The AFL was shown on Fox sports1 and foxsports4 and FTA all concurrently and together got over nearly 800k.

So youre telling me 261k watched tigers v saints and the Cowboys v warriors got 63k. Well there we have it folks! Split audience which added together only reaches 324k, about the same as a regular NRL game on Saturday night.

Well the AFL got 231k and 67k for a total of 298k, not far behind given there was also a game of FTA at the same time.

No matter what you say, the AFL had 800k viewers on Saturday night, way more than the NRL

Meaning the other game , even with the NZ audience not included still managed almost as many as you'se lot. And I see we smashed you again on Sunday - You lot are so pathetic!

what it confirms is exactly what all AFL supporters have been saying. Showing concurrent games dousnt double your audience total, it splits the average and your total ends up the same.

This is why you fools are wrong when you brag about an average audience for your pay TV games compare to the AFL. Of course your average is higher when almost every NRL payTV game is shown in isolation and almost all AFL payTV games are shown against another payTV game and a FTA game.

Your average Saturday night ratings on payTV are 250-350. Why then did your average plummet to about 160k on Satuday night? Because you had two concurrent games for once!

Oh and the NRL may have won FTA on Sunday but got smashed on PayTV despite the AFL having three games shown at the same time.

The reason both codes numbers are down is because of the olympics!

Both codes have two games fully overlapping , live at 7.30. Your game is between Collingwood (easily the most supported side in the AFL) and the Swanettes (the team coming 1st in the AFL), The result???- a 30 000 win to the NRL. The Second game was an 8 000 win to the AFL but one of the teams involved NZ, is not counted. Allowing for all this the NRL finish 22 000 ahead, or 11K a game.

PS. And even the Total Audience for 3 AFL games doesn't even get close to the NRL's audience for 2

Rds 1,2,4,5,7,9,19,20,21,22,23 all had an overlapping match on a Saturday .
