The sellout line is used to try to claim a stadium is full.

Read & understand..

Plenty of stories say "in front of a Packed stadium" or it " was a full house". Etc,when reality is there are 1000s & 1000s of empty seats.

It is all about perception ..

Fumbleball has never filled the Gabba not even come close ,but you can read about sellout ,full house etc...

Comprende. Stupid.
why can't sell out mean exactly what it says? sell out aka sold out? tickets sold out? no tickets left? any of that ring a bell?

don't put words in my mouth, i never said every single seat has to be used for a game to be sold out.

every sport in this country has announced sell outs for certain games that still have hundreds or even thousands of empty seats. if stadium/club members don't turn up then it doesn't make it any less of any achievement as every ticket was sold before the game started which is the whole point

i'll tell you this much - there will be 40,000 at allianz next week for the sydney derby, it will be an official sell out but the official crowd will be somewhere between 40k-41k in a 45k seater. scg trust members who have access to the sfc and scg encompass a large portion of that and many have various random interests in certain sports - many only in cricket, but some only in AR, rugby league, union, it goes on and on, some are probably soccer fans and will show up - the rest probably won't and that happens for every sport that plays at the SCG and SFS

then you've got season ticket holders that might not be able to make a game for a certain reason - sydney fc has 11,000 of them, not all of them will be at the game, some could be overseas, at work or doing something else. the club doesn't sell their seats to the public if they don't turn up. if they don't turn up then their seat remains empty

hopefully you'll understand a little bit now :D

Comprende. Stupid.
speak to your fellow retarrd mate parraeels about why parramatta stadium are classed as sell outs, even though the official attendance is below the stadium capacity.

so if we go on your theory
the NRL has never sold out allianz stadium
the Storm AAMI stadium
the Broncos Suncorp :)))

the GABBA has had up grades over the years as well, which has increased its capacity.

so once again spazza fails to understand
