because fox plus regionals for the AFL are usually about the NRLs regionals. So the metro figures usually indicate the winner, especially when the difference is 100k

Yes the AFL do it to every Saturday and Sunday. This is because they have at least 2 teams in every state, and on FTA there are only 4 games a weekend shown to each state. The NRL do it almost every FN and this doesnt stop the NRL crew claiming victory despite having two games compete with one. Why cant we claim victory under the same circumstances?
