It's the 3rd year in a row that crowds for these games have grown, you don't like facts but the NRL only needs 71k next week to beat the record year for semi finals.

They're never going to get above 50k without some attendance from the opposition, just like any single NRL club wouldn't

The entire NRL season has only seen 2 Sydney attendances over 40k, and both involved two NRL clubs from Sydney. Where as the swans have managed to average 32k for the entire year, and over 40k during finals, despite playing interstate teams almost every week.

The NRL prelims may get over 50k, which is hardly comparable unless each game involved only one Sydney team. Really, prelims with two local teams should be getting 70-80k

Listen, anyone who claims the nrl don't have a problem with crowds is just being stupid . The nrl acknowledge it. I think it is a good question as to why SOO can get great crowds, the gf gets a good crowd , yet must finals and home and away have been very poor. Why is this ?
