. So far they have only 88k for their first 4 games and their biggest draw cards have already played.
88K ?
Marcus & his maths
35,952
31,139
13,351
11,627
92,069
an average of ova 23K a game & well .. well ahead of rnd 1 2012 at this stage
the Sydney average so far is also a respectable 24,500 a game
with 4 games to go we'll be ahead of 2012 after rnd 1.
NRL... killing it

4k more from 4 games, well done!
Last years first round was the NRLs lowest in many years. This year will challenge it. I wonder why the crowds arent rising if the NRL memberships are?

Opening round and only 10k for Penrith, looked more like 4k.
Must have been raining, or the stadium under renovations, or just after work so no one could make the game, or something...
Any ideas?

With the 10,882 at Penrif the average drops to 20,590. For the opening round of the season. Classic =D>

That's a total of 102,951. Looks about 14k for the storm, 10k for the sharks is likely. That leaves about 22k for the knights to avoid being the lowest first round total since 2003 when they had 7 games a round.

No surprises there. The Brumbies and union own Canberra. FWIW I saw a guy wearing a Brumbies cap at the Clipsal last week.

136,742 after 7 games, average has now dipped below 20,000 to 19,535. This just keeps getting funnier.

Newcastle. They usually do alright. Unless, say, there's a thunderstorm forecast for Monday....

hmmmmmm
would have on their ear against the Dragons in rnd 3 ( first home game ) ... if they'd won yesterday & again next week.
but they won't if they put on another performance like yesterday against the Titans next week as they'll get lapped again like they were by Penrith.
this is the raiders though
a nightmare of a side to follow .... up & down like a fucking yo yo
but if they can get ova the Titans & the Dragons beat the Broncos
expect a very big crowd the following Sunday for the Raiders first home game of 2013

Last years round 1 was the lowest crowd total in NRL history for their 16 club competition. The excuses were rampant, record floods, no Brisbane game, torrential rain etc.
This year theyll squeeze past that low total yet still likely end up with the second lowest rnd 1 total in their dissapointing history. I wonder what the excuses will be this year? Brisbane had a home game, the weather was fine and sunny at each game....
Must have been too nice, too many other things to do

if but when maybe could have.
But don't......
I wonder what the excuses will be.....too hot.....
Striker claims the stadium is too cold wet and windy.
Seriously a horrible total for the reigning premiers in perfect weather with no other sport being played in the state...
