Medical fact - swelling indicates a break. A proper trainer would have seen swelling and packed you off to hospital instead of risking the club's insurance.
Now admit that you made that story up, goose.

Jesus could you imagine the ambulance and hospital fees if this guy was a trainer of a club???
Astronomical!

I'm sorry but this is ridiculous. Can someone from the AFL team tell this idiot how things sometimes go down in the real world?

A wrist sprain typically causes pain, tenderness, and swelling over the wrist after a fall. It will be red, tender and warm to the touch. There may be bruising, decreased range of motion, and a dull deep ache in the wrist.

YOU FUCKING FOOL!
The club's insurance would have covered the ambulance fees!! Because the injury occurred on the field!!

The club wouldn't have insurance if you were a trainer
Imagine this folks. Its a bright sunny day, perfect for marngrook, and first round of the local footy comp. Cwapper dressed in black pants, shoes and a with the sitcom character ALF on the front of his white shirt arrives nice and early before the game. It's his first day on the job as trainer of the division 6 team. The team begins warmup when a player slightly twists an ankle. He limps off towards cwapper and says
div 6 player wrote:
''you know where the ice is mate? I think its already starting to swell up a bit...maybe I can start in the second quarter''
"
Cwapper looks down with his jaw agape and eyes wide
cwapper wrote:oh fukk no. oh fukk fukk fukk its bwoken!!!
He dials triple 0 immediately to the shock of the player.
And this would be repeated approximately six times every single match. Yes, its true, there'd be no insurance company willing to pay out this team!

Swelling of the wrist after trauma is due to soft tissue injury such as ligament, muscle, tendon damage, and /or bony injury such as a fracture
Often you cannot say which it is with any accuracy without an X-ray. Unless there is clear deformation or crepitus.

Alright, alright, yes KE has played footy in Alice Springs and Sydney. Injury plagued seasons in both leagues.

That's what I meant! All the more reason to pack the player off to hospital to get it checked!

trainer wrote:Absolutely not. That could be a break there. Your day is over. If you continue with that injury you're not covered by league and club insurance and we can't let you continue for that reason.
THAT is the correct procedure, Eliagh!
I am sorry, Beaussie. I know you mean well and all that, but your statement contradicts Eliagh's demonstrable knowledge of the game - or rather the lack thereof. I need more. We all need more.

Cwapper you suck goat arse matey.

Seriously you got no idea about the inner workings of trainers and players in an footy club, no idea. You're just full of goat shit aren't ya? You might have a clue about umpiring though...? You know much about that?

I have no clue about umpiring and wouldn't want to know either. Filthy job that can stay a mile away from me!
But I DO know about club inner workings! Particularly the business side as I run a small business that sponsors a local AFL club! They entertain sponsors very well and show us every thing about the club. Including players and trainers. The wife is a registered nurse as well.
So I know. You don't.

Do it after you've had sex tho cwapper cause my inkling is you wont be getting none for some time after :_<>
