Get this ******* straight, Puppies. NO STATE IS 100 PERCENT ONE ******* SPORT!!!!

Fact is - there are MORE AFL fans in VIC, SA, TAS and WA than there are NRL fans in NSW and QLD! AND there are MORE AFL fans in NSW and QLD than there are NRL fans in VIC, SA, TAS and WA!!

Stick that up your arse and **** it, **** wit!!

Going by the ratings the Iron Chef re-runs get on SBS, and the ratings rugby league get, nationwide, for Origin it maybe time to have a rethink.

What ridiculous statement. Just shows what a crackhead you are. Origin is Rugby League! just because your lot don't have doesnt mean it does'nt exist. And, according to this website, got 300k which is better than you get for most of your games. As far as Sydney goes

Can you read!!!!!!!, Beaussie stated that not all people in NSW and QLD are NRL fans, which I can accept. But you guys need to accept the that fact that not all VIC, SA, TAS and WA people are AFL fan.

So, are you still going to stand by you comment that is suggesting every man, women and child in VIC, SA, TAS and WA is a AFL fan.
My point was that trying to say regional areas of NSW and QLD must all be NRL supporters is ridiculous and that's exactly what you were trying to point out. I've no doubt about that.

With large parts of SA, VIC, NT and all of WA not even included in the regional ratings posted by AGBNielsen, why would anyone other than deluded throwball fans take the regional ratings seriously. Meanwhile, we all know the major capital cities measured by OzTAM show the AFL absolutely dominates the tv ratings year after year. All major capitals of Australia covered and the AFL dominating. Deal with it.

Origin is Rugby League, and dont the people just love it!

After this seasons explosive and dramatic series I'd say many a young melbournian watching down there has thrown the sherrin over the fence and begun tackling like a man. :D

Although there really is nothing wrong with a sherrin, I'm just sure that this would have happened down there.

Oh and Onions read this will you please.

State of Origin IS RUGBY LEAGUE

Hows those eyes burnin now lil bitch?

It's become abundently clear that C.10 want nothing to do with your game. C.7, who only have four games are trying to give 2 away. Even then C.10 wont touch it and C.9 knows where its breads buttered. Meaning you have very little interest from FTA. Pay TV forked out a fotune for you, But we all know that it's a one off, its only a stategy to lift subscription levels in the West to that of the states in the East, but then what? where do you go to from there? Your next TV deal does'nt look very promising at all - Pay Tv is not going to pay anything like they paid on this deal and little interest from FTA. So where the Sons $20m and giants $30m per year going to come from , not to mention the large handout the Swans rely on each year to survive? where? bye bye AFL =D> =D> =D>

Fuck off, Kitten! Ten got out because they gave a shit coverage compared to Seven and people stopped watching them! They don't have the fucking money that Seven and Nine have! Nine tried to run both and they couldn't without a fucking back up channel!

And hey fuck wit; Pay TV is giving AFL it's OWN FUCKING CHANNEL!! Where's the NRL's channel? Couldn't be fucking bothered to commit??

Onions you lil twatmouth! Is SOO not a part of the football CODE called Rugby League? Is SOO not on TV and rated?

Get with the program pimple puss!

Now where was I, yes that's right Origin. This Rugby League series is in a different solar system to anything Aussie Rules when it comes to TV ratings and national passion. I personally cant wait for it to go back to melbourne to build the Rugby LEague passion down there. Beaussie and Onions shouldn't avoid this fact. I think the Leaguies here in Western Sydney, while scared for no reason, at least have an awareness that AFL is in Sydney. Beaussie and Onions are deep in blissful ignorance about RL in Victoria.

Personally, I think Melb/Victoria is big enough to have another rugby league team down there in 5-10 years. Maybe the 'Geelong Onions' would be a nice team. What you guys think?

Jewel in the crowd eh? That would explain why the NRL Grand Final is not considered a national event then. Even Rugby League fans like you prefer State of Origin over the premier domestic competiton in Rugby League. Says it all really and explains the lack of appeal the NRL has week to week, season to season. You throwball fans only watch 3 games of State of Origin a year it seems.

Delusional much? :(/

The Melbourne Storm already lose over $10 million per season and thats after regularly playing finals and grand finals. Bring on another financial basketcase please. :_<>

That just show how much verbal diarrhoea you guys speak. To the average Aussie bloke who watches any sport on TV, regardless of their favourite code, you are just pointing out that AFL only has one event that is worth watching each year. Although it is probably a fair comment for you to make, considering you would not have a clue what representative football is. Go on tell me AFL really plays rep games that have any credibility. You play gaelic football with Ireland, which the name suggest you are playing the right game. You are trying to start a world cup, maybe in the next 5-10 years it will get off the ground and good luck to AFL (great for AU economy and AFL if it does). But maybe then you will understand what rep footy is and give it the credibility it deserves. Until then, don't put up rubbish.
