That reach number for the AFL compared to the NRL is phenomenal.

Over on Nine, the Roosters victory over the Broncos averaged 600k, the same as the previous Friday

Good point Leeroy. You would think that with no FTA on Saturdays Fox should improve much much more than 16%. That number isn't going to cover the FTA ratings lost. This is going to effect overall ratings. Not a good sign for the fumbling game.

yep exactly, of course AFL should be up, you now have all of Saturday

what dopey fwed is not taking into consideration is the ratings increase for STV for twerpball is being offset by a significant DROP in FTA ratings
so the fumbles misses & stumbles overall may not have had much of an increase or maybe none at all

I have sourced the actual facts from our dear mutual friend Sportsindustry (AKA The Sookie). He states that the average FTA ratings for the fumbling game on Thursdays is 645k. The Average for Australia's most watch sport i.e. Rugby League is 655k.

Now I know you're less than hopeless with maths and the truth beatup. But I must point out that 655 is a greater number than 645. Please to speak to Mrs beatup if you can't comprehend this.

This means that RL is the most watched sport on Thursday nights this year in our great vast land. It's a close run thing beatup but the fact remains that 655 is bigger than 645. And of course we know that once Fox is added RL will smash the fumbling game.

Now if you dispute this you will have to research a couple of blokes who were good on calculations. I suggest A.Einstein and I. Newton. From them you will learn that numbers don't lie pal.

Thanks Sooks. Explains it all very well pal. It's basically a very close run race. I noted earlier that despite the great game of AFL having a 4-2 advantage the NRL has a slightly better average overall. (Beatup take note!!!!!!).
