Your trying to make out the piss week AFL ratings are a one off. That just more BS! your best FTA metro ratings this year is barely 50k more. In the previous 7 matches this year, 2 have been lower and 1 about the same. Non have been above 660k.

The AFL for whatever reason have decided to show their major matchups on SN instead of FN. This year from the 8 FN games played so far, only 4 have been final 8 side, and 12 were bottom 8 sides. Carlton the bottom side have played 5 of 8 weeks! There's your reason, not some crap about 2 players missing for SOO!

Sat TV #AFL night Seven 391k (Mel 305k Ade 86k) 7mate 231k (Syd 74k Bri 35k Per 122k)
74k for the Swans, plus 25k on foxtel. Have the storm got near 100k for a home and away game?
NRL typically rates 400k on the main digital channel in Sydney for prime time home and away games. Swans rated 100k on fox and secondary digital channel, which always rates well under the primary channel. This is a decent result and shows the AFL has a presence in Sydney

Sat STV #AFL #FoxFooty/#FoxSports #AFLHawksSwans 264k #AFLSunsPies 202k #AFLGiantsCrows 142k #AFLSaintsEagles 110k #AFLFreoNorth 90k
Sat STV #NRL #FoxSports #NRLTigersCowboys 244k
So on pay TV only 244k watched NRL at 7.30pm, while 354k watched the AFL
622k FTA plus 354k PTV plus 200k regionals = 1.18m on Saturday night

622k + Pay tv 264 +150 = 1,036m up against no NRL on FTA.
You can barley clear 1million with no NRL on and using 2 broadcasters to do it..... =D> =D>

During 2014 #Origin affected #NRL Rounds 11-18, total FTA metro audience fell -10% compared to the rest of season avg
https://twitter.com/RL_Ratings/status/6 ... 4485560320
So now we know that ratings do slip during SOO Xman, whats the AFL's excuse for there ratings slump of late?
Give me one good credible reason to why the AFL's ratings are down this year on Fox and FTA, i would love to here it..

Still a Great Result for SOO
wouldn't say it was a Great Game but a Pass.
But still thinking, why didn't NSW take the F.G at the 73rd Minute
but 40seconds later QLD take the shot.
Bad Communication (looking at you Pearce / Hodkinson
