ahhhhhh ....this may have been true in the past
but the VFL is in massive strife these days & this idea they are well managed has come under serious threat in recent years

11 of their clubs are financially near insolvent & only survive with hand outs from the VFL
hence its future fund is near empty so grass roots will suffer eventually

both the thuns & midgets will be dependant on the VFL for tens of millions to operate from year to year ... for decades to come
if they had not expanded then the VFL would have had about 250 Million more then they do today to help struggling clubs in the heartland ... & the Wions who are just in an awful state financially & the SWines surprisingly .. who even when they're premiers .. can't make a profit :-k

nah
more issues then a row boat in shit creek without a paddle .... does the VFL have

have a look at GWS and the Lions "transition" my ass, they are not just faltering but have come to a standstill and started heading backwards.

Port were in the same position but are doing well now. Suns are doing well also and self sufficient.

Again your in fairy land
- AFL 425 mil in revenue 2013 - NRL 285 mil
- 9 clubs with debt but recieve (just like NRL clubs) distribution from the league nothing unusual about that - NRL 13 clubs in debt (out of 16)
- all clubs are servicing debts inccured mostly thru building new training facilities or in Geelongs case increasing ground capacity from 28k to 33k
- Swans have made profits in all but one year of the last 10 AND run their own academy (which the NRL clubs dont)
- GWS and GC did not cost 250 mil - they receive same distribution as the other AFL clubs AND both have made profits!
- AFL 6 mil profit this year AFTER 30 mil committed to futures fund!

Lies time and time again - you have been shown these facts time and time again - but you prefer your own made up facts!
You run from a fright like a child (I havent forgotten I offered you the chance to step into a ring). You are a gutless coward and a liar!

Now take your meds NUPHY!

poooooorrrrtttttt

are about to announce another loss for 2013 **********
they made the finals
upped their attendances & membership
&
still lost money
& this to add to the tens of millions they are in debt already

the thuns don't release financials so we'd need to believe the biggest pack of liars in Aust sport ( the VFL) they're self sufficient

&

we don't

hmmmm where would one begin with this utter shit :(/ :(/   :_<> :_<> :_<>

the NRL had revenue of 190 Million in 2012 .... that's when it media rights deal was worth 100 million a year
its media rights deal is now worth 260 Million a year
& NRL non media revenue passed 100 Million in 2013 ..... NRL total revenue 360 Million this year & this will increase to 400 Million by 2017
the NRL banked 45 Million of this in 2013.... the VFL banked a mere 6 Million of their revenue :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/

the VFL has 11 clubs in the poor house with debts totally 115 Million dollars & many continue to go further down the shitter each year
some of these clubs are insolvent & would not survive without VFL assistance
the Wions & Poort are cases in point .. they are not viable & they need to be wound up

the SWines have made LOSSES in all but one of the last ten years you ***** fuckstick :(/ :(/   :_<> :_<>
the Midgets & thuns cost 250 Million to set up ... this straight from the VFL you dribbling minda :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/

so the VFL made a profit of 36 Million then
Still less then the NRL's 45 Million :(/ :(/    :_<> :_<> :_<> :_<> :_<> :_<>

we could put 30 Million into our future fund & we still more then doubled the VFL's bankable profits for 2013
wow
just fucking wow =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

the NRL had revenue of 190 Million in 2012
Prove it.
its media rights deal is now worth 260 Million a year
And you're getting screwed.
& NRL non media revenue passed 100 Million in 2013
Prove it.
NRL total revenue 360 Million this year & this will increase to 400 Million by 2017
Prove it.
the NRL banked 45 Million of this in 2013
Prove it - and why didn't they spend it on expansion?
the VFL banked a mere 6 Million of their revenue
Prove that the VFL banked 6 million!
the VFL has 11 clubs in the poor house with debts totally 115 Million dollars & many continue to go further down the shitter each year
Prove that 11 VFL clubs are in debt to that level!
some of these clubs are insolvent & would not survive without VFL assistance
If they were insolvent the AFL would withdraw their license like they did with Fitzroy.
the Wions & Poort are cases in point .. they are not viable & they need to be wound up
Both clubs are in good shape, with Port about to benefit from the sale of AAMI Stadium.
the SWines have made LOSSES in all but one of the last ten years you ***** fuckstick
So what?
the Midgets & thuns cost 250 Million to set up ... this straight from the VFL you dribbling minda
The VFL gave no such information. The money spent by the AFL will be well worth it in the long term.
so the VFL made a profit of 36 Million then
Still less then the NRL's 45 Million
If the AFL had spent as much as the NRL, they would have made a much bigger profit.
we could put 30 Million into our future fund & we still more then doubled the VFL's bankable profits for 2013
wow
The AFL put a lot more into the future by spending money. The NRL need to start spending to compete.

RLWC is going very nicely.

easily the best one so far. surpassed all my expectations and total crowds are now at 147k. If both games tonight sell out it will reach 167k and 400k will be a very, very achievable target. Great effort by everone involved, this will definitely rejuvenate RL in England and France and kickstart growth in Italy, USA, Wales and Ireland.

We should probably be aiming at 450k now, since both wembley games will get 50k, the final 75k. means 400k is almost guaranteed as long as tonight sells out.

That's what AFL fans usually do ,No rep games ,no all 4 & 20 pie team to represent their country .
Us RL fans have plenty to watch.
Nothing like watching your players line up in the Green & gold & sing the Anthem ,before taking on old foes England & NZ.

100+ yrs of international rivalry.
Sadly derpballers don't know what its like to represent your country at your chosen sport
