They haven't. The evidence arose mid season.

Here is another one for ya......why has the AFL not done anything about the salary cap rorts perpetrated by the Crows???? Because they only found out about the issue a month ago and the crows requested time for a defense?c

Is it going to take another year for another investigation???? You mean like the NRL took a year to investigate the storm who won a flag during that time?

why has the AFL back flipped on the visy deal with Judd??? Who knows? What's your point?

Why does the AFL give cap concessions to all the expansion sides in the AFL???? They don't!

And why is the AFL rigging the competition for GWS, SUNS with all the draft picks???? Because theyre developing sides with inexperienced lists.

Nice try eels

Yet Port still have tens of thousands more fans than Cronulla. In 5 years time Port will be making annual profits with their new business model and stadium revenue at Adelaide Oval, while Cronulla will continue to lose money each season and have $ million of debt again.

Has Cronulla ever made a profit at the end of a season before? Have they ever had over 10,000 members? Have they ever had an average crowd of 20,000?

Cronulla, like many nRL clubs, are a disgrace to Australian sport.

Well if it's a 20k average to survive, best we kick out all teams from Sydney bar the Bullfrogs and Parramatta eels.

Sharks might ..... pork swordelaide definetly will ....
adding to massive debts they're already holding

if Sharks do lose money in 2013 it will at least be to a clean debt free slate
and
I'd doubt the Sharks will lose next year anyway... a 4 million a year increase in revenue straight off the bat for next year ... will see they don't

Sharks >>>>>> Port slumelaide

a few hundred K here & there
hardly anything ... a couple of million in total as a comp

9 out of 18 VFL clubs lose money
11 if you included the 2 latest basketcases .... & these losses combined in the tens of millions
hell .. the wions & pork swordelaide .. 5 million between them

& in 2013
it will be ZERO ... out of 16 NRL clubs losing money ... with an extra 3 million straight to every clubs bottom lines ... easily covering their tiny losses will the VFL be able to claim the same ...... ?

9 clubs out of 17 last year made a loss. Most were minor, especially when compared to the yearly budget. This year that may be 10 out of 18 with the vast majority being minor losses. However the clubs making a profit are by a number of millions.

Meanwhile the NRL has all but one club losing money and one making a minor profit....

EXCLUSIVE: The future of the Cronulla Sharks has been secured by final NSW government approval for a $300 million Leagues club development.

The decision, to be revealed later today, allows the Sharks to immediately pay off a debt of more than $10 million to St George Bank.

Under the proposal approved by government’s planning assessment commission, a consortium of building developers will pay off the loan in return for sales from home units that will be built on the site.

The development will include a shopping centre, a residential area and a refurbishment of Shark Park.

“This secures our long term future in the NRL,” said one senior Sharks official.

“It is the biggest financial injection in the club’s history.

“We can now compete with the strongest clubs.”

The project will create 1100 jobs over an eight-year period

The club's chairman Damian Irvine said project managers were keen to re-employ hundreds of Caltex Refinery workers from the area who recently lost their jobs.
