Lowest opening round crowd for the broncos since 2004. Horrible for a single team city or 2 million people [-(

They should really be selling out every game with no other nRL competition in the city.[/

If the Broncos struggle this year most crowds will be sub 30k, it's funny that it will be the highest of any Nrl club
& they are the biggest club in the NRL, & their was next to nothing else going on in Brisbane last nite as well,

but but but but but........ ](*,)

NRL .. killing it =D> =D> =D> =D>
it all depends on the games. Broncos at home and the much anticipated "blockbuster" both big disappointments for the NRL

For a last place side for the last 2 years that is decent.

Well last year the bottom 3 established sides averaged 19.9k (Port), 23.3k (WB), and 28.7k (Melb).

In their opening home games they had crowds of 33k (Melb v Bris) 24k (WB v WCE) and 21k (Port v Stk). By a stroke of luck all hosted out of town teams, making for an easy direct comparison with Parra's awful, awful crowd.

Do some research before you make claims next time.

Oh, and before you reply that "it doesn't matter if GWS and GC aren't established sides, they finished in the bottom 3, we should compare their round 1 crowds", you should first check to see what GWS and GC drew at home round 1 last year

Bulldogs v cowboys.....11k.....arent the bulldogs supposed to be a decent and popular team??

Dave's claims of a great first round have gone from an average of 40k (which it wasnt) to an average of 22k after 4 games. What the hell happened to a big opening round? They got 150k total in round 1 last year. So far they have only 88k for their first 4 games and their biggest draw cards have already played.

Yeah... they're supposed to be bigger than Collingwood in a few years!

I love the delusions of nRL fans... they really think their code is as popular as the AFL, don't they?

an average of ova 23K a game & well .. well ahead of rnd 1 2012 at this stage

the Sydney average so far is also a respectable 24,500 a game
with 4 games to go we'll be ahead of 2012 after rnd 1.

NRL... killing it

Given the Broncos played away round 1 last year, you'd bloody hope the 2013 total is higher lol
