Wow its a closely fought battle for the top three in the VFL this year. Probably the closest tussle I've ever seen
I think GWS and GCS have done well in the VFL this year... they will be champs of the VFL soon....
No I'm sorry but I dont agree here eels. GC and GWS are the basketcases of the VFL. I doubt they'll seriously compete for the top three like Brisbane, Port Adelaide, Western Bulldogs or even Melbourne for 10-20years. Those sides are just all class in comparison.

Funny how 44% of AFL clubs are outside of Victoria but only 33% of the NRL clubs are outside NSW yet you continue to use the "VFL" comment.
Yes thank you for pointing out that all your expansion teams in the last 30 years are in the VFL.......

The Expansion disaster...

13 Brisbane 19 7 0 12 85.11 28
14 Port Adelaide 19 5 0 14 78.54 20
15 Bulldogs 19 5 0 14 69.67 20
16 Melbourne 19 3 0 16 67.70 12
17 Gold Coast 19 2 0 17 60.77 8
18 Greater Western Sydney 19 2 0 17 45.81 8

Thank you for validating our thought's that this is the most lopsided AFL in recent memory.
 Because its true.

No it's not. See my previous post where I showed the top and bottom teams in 2000 and 2001.

Eel I notice that you didn't correct the NRL ladder to align with the AFL points system.

So who's avoiding the topic again?
It would not make a diff to the facts that the 2012 AFL season is the most lopsided comp in recent memory....

Can you link me another season as lopsided as this one. Yeah i thought so.. =D>

No they don't! They were a basketcase even worse than GWS or GC are now! Why do you think they disappeared?

Their last few years were poor. They had a history more significant than almost all NRL teams.

All seasons except for 1976 during the time of zoning. I don't have time to go through them one by one.
This is what the NRL ladder looks like if it were 4 points for a win as in the AFL.

Says the guy who thinks the AFL consists of the giants and suns only.

Every time I mention our better memberships, money, crowds etc you bring up 2 brand new teams out of 18.

As I said, the AFL is enjoying one of the best seasons ever. The 2 developing teams at the bottom were always going to struggle for a number of years. We'll still double your crowds despite playing 25% of our games outside our heartland compared to your 10%
