He never said it was a problem. He said its being addressed but there is some work still to go.

He said racism in the AFL is almost gone but not completely irradiated, but overall the AFL are winning the war against racism.

Xman don't you acknowledge that Goodes's quotes highlight, as eels states, that the AFL has racism problems? Because it certainly doesnt seem like it from your sole focus on Goodes's comments that the AFL is winning the war against racism. That's not even half the point Goodes makes. There are many scenarios where undesirable incidents or issues are prevalent but not considered a problem until they become frequent. Example: the odd spider may be present in your house, and complete eradication would be the preference, but they are not considered a problem until they are seen regularly due to increased numbers.

Racism will always be present while more than one race attempts to coexist. But infrequent incidents does not mean it should be described as a problem. None is ideal, but a problem suggests it is common or frequently encountered.

If that were the case I'm sure he would have described it as a problem.
