excuses, excuses, excuses. That list had one purpose and one purpose only , a big 'up you' to rugby league and twitter.

If you could'nt include Fri matches fair enough. But that list had no place. There is some poetic licence taken to get the Fri night figures , just as there is when you add free to air and PTV.

There's no need to explain it to me, or anyone else. You've made your position very clear by drawing up a very bias and slanted list that robs RL of 70% of it Friday night matches and than trying to make out that the list has some type of meaning.

I've put up a list that shows a bit of poetic license on both sides ie one that is even and unbiased.

In the real word you don't have FNLive nor do you add PTV and FTA together.

An up date to the showing all ratings ( the unbiased list)

Seemed to me that there was a really good number of NSW and Qland kids drafted last night, Australia's game must be booming in the northern states. I understand one or two more are a good chance to be placed on a rookie list as well. How many Victorians have ever play for the Storm? I'd be interested to know, just as a point of reference.

tugby is going that well in victoria they don't even have their own victorian based feeder team

20-year old outside back Richie Kennar became the third Victorian to represent Melbourne Storm on Saturday night.

Mahe Fonua created history in 2012 when he became the first Victorian born and bred player to play for Melbourne Storm at NRL level and was then followed by winger Young Tonumaipea who made his debut two years later in Round 1, 2014. On Saturday, Kennar received his opportunity in first-grade to play for the Club he grew up supporting and idolising after making his way through the Melbourne Storm development pathways.

In his second season on Melbourne's first-grade squad, Kennar was been rewarded for his strong performances in Queensland's Intrust Super Cup with Storm feeder club Easts Tigers and earned selection in Craig Bellamy's side to take on the Panthers in Penrith.

Three total in almost 20 years dear me, 5 nsw kids were drafted in the top 20 last night and I find it mind boggling that the storm are still unable to field a Vic based seconds side after this length of time, I wonder is that a reason or a symptom for why the game of league is so totally unable to gain any traction down here or anywhere in southern or Western Australia.

^^^excuse me the axe
These 5 you mention that are from NSW, can you can you plz tell me where exactly each of the five come from in NSW?

I am interested to know how many of these come from the 'AFL stronghold areas' of NSW like the riverina/just north of the Murray and if many or any of them at all actually come from the 'Rugby(s) established areas' of NSW...

Without looking at the information I would assume that only 1 (2 at the max) of the 5 come from outside those AFL strongholds in nsw. and if this is the cAse then those figures are not that great considering the decades and millions the AFL has spent in nsw

Of the NSW kids picked in the first 20, 1 from metro Sydney 4 from the NSW Riverina Wagga, Leeton,Narrandera,Collingullie, just shows the absolute strength of Australia's game throughout the whole country. Here's a question where abouts are the league strong holds in the southern and western states located?

So who's right you or leeroy, I don't mind either way I'm just amazed by how big Australian football is becoming in the northern states. GWS recruited more kids from NSW in one night than Vic kids to the storm in 20 years, dear me.
