I like what you have done X man. This is the reason why foxtel wanted the AFL and the number pf subscriptions will increase (mostly in melbourne) because of all the local teams on fox. Tonight I have to go to someones house to watch the Collingwood game (about to leave). I am to cheap to get fox. Although the AFL's games are often played at the same time, the number of viewers even for simulcast games is high. I can also understand why many will disagree with what you have done.

The plain fact of the matter is when you compare apples with apples, live vs live NRL wins. The second game is delayed and chocked full of adds.

Friday night NRL average was 717 + 395 = 1.112 divided by 2 = 556K metro + 371 regional (40% of total approx) = 927 average nationally. Even on a good friday night NRL cant break that 1 million average.

AFL would be 691K + 230 (approx regionals) + 250 (fox estimate) = 1.171 nationally with what was it 9 V 11?? That would be about the same as the first NRL broadcast. (I estimate it to be about 1.2 million)

Stop ******* lying, the NRL most weeks easily gets past the 1 million mark on a Friday and seeing as most regional ratings are way over 400k, not the 300k you have posted.

I understand why they will too. But this is the reality. If they don't like adding ratings of concurrent games they can split the ratings for their Friday night live games. :D

I have no idea why Adelaide v collingwood isn't on FTA into Melbourne. I'm an essendon supporter and I think I'd rather watch the crows beat the pies than the bombers smash the giants. But I've got foxtel so I can tape one and watch the other.

This would be the average regionals for both matches. but I guess you couldn't figure that out (was poorly written). The first broadcast would have regionals of about 480 K but combined average regionals would be way less.
