Friday night NRL average was 717 + 395 = 1.112 divided by 2 = 556K metro + 371 regional (40% of total approx) = 927 average nationally. Even on a good friday night NRL cant break that 1 million average.

AFL would be 691K + 230 (approx regionals) + 250 (fox estimate) = 1.171 nationally with what was it 9 V 11?? That would be about the same as the first NRL broadcast. (I estimate it to be about 1.2 million)

It it two different games. Even broadcast 1 (1.2 million nationally) was at best about the same as the AFL friday night match. If you took your best match it would be about 900K nationally. My opinion even tonight the ratings were a win for the AFL, because the NRL is sacrificing 2 matches to get the ratings on a friday night that 1 AFL match gets. Spin it however you like but the AFL clearly wins Friday night. Most of the time with ratings alone. Nights like this one, the AFL wins through attrition because the NRL is sacrificing 2 games to get the ratings that at best are slightly better then 1 AFL game.

Well you need to remember the AFL audience is split because it's simulcast on foxtel so it easily wins. Plus its delayed to Perth.

Stop fucking lying, the NRL most weeks easily gets past the 1 million mark on a Friday and seeing as most regional ratings are way over 400k, not the 300k you have posted.

The swans ratings this year have been miles ahead of the storms, plus they're also shown on foxtel. Plus the storm are table leaders by miles. Plus no one goes to their games. Plus you're a fool.
