Wow, Seven’s AFL was number one nationwide and the best result for the season. Another massive win again for the AFL over the NRL too.
That reach number for the AFL compared to the NRL is phenomenal.

How good is that 16% increase when the Saturday Games have become exclusives
for me them numbers do not look that good.
Example
You have lost FTA on Saturdays, and FOX gains exclusivity but the number is only 16% overall
Discuss ??
Good point Leeroy. You would think that with no FTA on Saturdays Fox should improve much much more than 16%. That number isn't going to cover the FTA ratings lost. This is going to effect overall ratings. Not a good sign for the fumbling game.
yep exactly, of course AFL should be up, you now have all of Saturday

The guy from Kayo seemed happy - particularly give
The massive rose the year prior. And that’s only kayo - not fox.

16% is good rise year on year.
it does not look that good when you compare KAYO numbers to last season
when you add in EXCLUSIVE GAMES to NON EXCLUSIVE GAMES
and of course he will be happy.. Is not going to do a press release and be sad

16 percent growth I think is good - particularly when there was massive growth last year from AFL subs. If it were only 10 percent last year it would still be good but given it was so large last year - the 16 percent I think is substantial. Add in potential growth in Fox subs -

Fred, there is no FTA live fumbling on Saturdays any more. The 16% rise on Kayo ain't gonna cover the lost FTA numbers pal. Under the circumstances its not a big rise. Fact matter Fredo.

Both codes had huge uplift in Kayo numbers last year.
Point is, FTA would usually show Saturday games day and night
Now FOX have Exclusivity to saturday.. and are only seeing a lift of 16% at present..
so before when FTA were combined with fox on saturdays
if a game rated 200k on FOX with a FTA getting 500k
FOX is now only getting 232k
your losing 470k viewers
obviously this would differ week to week.

Are you confusing fox numbers with kayo numbers ? I don’t believe they are the same are they ?

FOX AND KAYO are Split,
FOX GROUP are combined.
im not confusing anything
16% lift on KAYO would be more than FOX BOX lift
as one is in decline and the other is UP
16% lift with no FTA is a HUGE loss of viewers lol

Surely some would take up kayo and some would take up Foxtel. No need for kayo if you have Foxtel. Do we have figures for Foxtel subs?

ok lets go by your statement, Lets say 16% Extra Uptake on KAYO
giving approx 30k viewers extra per broadcast.
now lets double it on to FOXTEL and give them 16%
so per broadcast on FOX EXCLSUIVE SATURDAY games are up 32% and around 60k viewers extra per game..
but your losing the FTA component of that figure which is north of 500k on Saturday Nights on FTA Ch7 in pass..
