Yes, well I thought States had nothing to do as to what is televised and pretty sure the anti-syphoning laws were a Federal thing (are they still in place?)?Beaussie wrote: Mon Jul 25, 2022 9:02 pmYep, bitter News Ltd just upset they will need to pay more to beat the Channel 10/Paramount+ bid.Fred wrote: Mon Jul 25, 2022 6:28 pmWho wrote this? Any news on who wrote that article - it had all the hallmarks of a jealous Roy Masters clutching at straws as usual. I think he thinks more about the AFL than RL. He'd do well on this forum with the other NRL nuffies.

Re: Streaming companies want to broadcast AFL
the articles claiming a 3 billion deal on the table from paramount / 10 didn't make any sense , like they were bizarre & the leaguies on here questioned them quite rightly
Why in the name of jesus was the aflol still negotiating with anyone else if there was a 600 mill pa deal on the table ?
I'll tell you why ..
there is no deal from paramount /10 & there never was ... as we leaguies have been saying.
the aflol lied to its
broadcast partners
its clubs
its fans
what a disgraceful organisation
fumblers wonder why the aflol has a reputation by fans of other sports as being full of charlatans & snake oil salesmen
bye bye big increase
bye bye

Re: Streaming companies want to broadcast AFL
interesting times, from previous AFL deals this has definitely been more different in many ways.
also got to remember, previous AFL DEAL was 6 years and NRL 5 years.
Be interesting how long the AFL go for length of deal.

Re: Streaming companies want to broadcast AFL
also club presidents & AFL are set to decide in MID August about Tasmania.
this will have ramifications on TV DEAL you would think..
i would say, at current
CH7 AND FOX have an offer on table
AFL want more $$

Re: Streaming companies want to broadcast AFL
Lololololololol!!!!!! Hilarious stuff beatup lololol!! Pal, the AFL put it out there that Ten/Paramount offered 'em $600M. A massive increase on the current deal. Something they would have absolutely taken had it been true.Beaussie wrote: Mon Jul 25, 2022 9:02 pmYep, bitter News Ltd just upset they will need to pay more to beat the Channel 10/Paramount+ bid.Fred wrote: Mon Jul 25, 2022 6:28 pmWho wrote this? They are now talking to Seven and Fox only. They are begging them for more money. Ten/Paramount are out of the picture. There is only one reason why.......there never was an offer!! It was a lie lololl!!
This truly is hilarious stuff. Gilty and the boyos have given themselves a massive uppercut lololol!! They now look like what they are.....clowns!!!!!
