last nights game had just 2 tries in total
but its what transpired outside them & it was amazing ball movement equalled by astounding scrambling defence by both sides
great kicking games
bone jarring brutal defence
lots of fatigue & mistakes too
you litterally could not take your eyes off that game last night

this isn't always the case with low scoring games , it all hinges on the amount of footy played in the game.

we should not assume rule changes designed to increase try scoring impoves the spectacle & last night is concrete proof.

I am confident the AFL finals will dominate the NRL finals series in the tv ratings. The AFL is already outrating Saturday night NRL in Brisbane. Be great if we could also see some streaming numbers though for comparisons.
