Oh LOL: your so funny.
Melbourne only led 12-0 with about 15m to go.
In the other Final, the lead see-sawed all night. And the Cowboys still trailed with 8 min to go and didn't seal the deal till a couple of minutes to go.
AFL- Boring as batshit ! and Australian ratings runner runner up
you mean the news corp broncos didn't score for the whole game
what does that tell you about the scoring opportunities between the two games
What it tells me link is that you don't get points for trying hard in our game!
thanks for answering the question pissycat
there is a reason who more people go to and watch AFL than your boring bumsniffing game

because there is nothing else. there is no other aussie rules competition or tournament to compete with. So the only time people can see aussie rules played is during a season. if there was only one rugby league competition im sure they will get a lot more.
At the same time there is reason AFL isn't played anywhere else. because its a terrible sport to watch.

AFL ratings (1.9m) and crowd (94k) for yesterday's game suggest it was more than worthy for a prelim final, and absolutely trounced the NRL.
Furthermore, the NRL's prelim finals were a scoreline of 30-0 and 29-16. That's a difference of infinity and 45%.
The AFL's prelim scores were 136-75 and 103-67. That's a difference of 45% and 35%.
Tis clearly shows the AFL had the close prelim finals

A one sided game is one that is over not long after the first quarter or not long after halftime. Certainly not one that is still alive with 15 to go.
As far as close games go what part of being Just 2 scores behind with 15m to go as opposed to 10 or 11scores behind at the same stage are you having trouble grasping?

in the AFL a team can score a goal every minute or so if they get a run on. Teams often come back from 30 points behind

Lemme add to da truth pussycat touched on.
Teams CAN come back from 30points down in a half of AFL footy, but FACTS are this doesn't happen often because it's bloody hard to do.
Fact is there's been 7games out of 8 during the 2017 AFL finals where teams have been 30+ points behind.... And not one of em has reeled a win in. In fact each of these 7 teams, after being down by 30 points, went on to lose by even more than 30 points
So nlol, how's about you take ur lil point you've made and shove it square up leagueiscraps arse.
I'm absolutely smashing anyone who tries to suggest different to my op in this thread. Absolutely smashing em!!!

But but but!
It’s a much faster scoring game & plain and stimple! Of course highs will be higher and paper it will appear to be blow outs
A 6 goal margin is nothing

you're not wrong pussycat!
I watched the match today... Well it wouldn't be at all accurate to use the term 'match' to describe what occurred down in cloudy Melb town today. It was basically a one quarter game. After quarter time the ahem so called 'match' was actually a lopsided piece of dogshit.
In the second and third quarters, over an hour of footy, Adelaide scored one goal while Richmond waltzed around the field like they were in a training drill against an under sixteens squad. It was an absolute snore fest after quarter time! Adelaide got three goals in the final quarter but two of those were because Richmond gave away free kicks right in front
I'll do a full summary later but for now I'll leave yas with this ...
The 2017 AFL finals series was quite likely the most lopsided finals series in the history of professional sport worldwide. An absolute snore fest from week one thru to the gf today.
