firstly, his article about this year's 'victory' seems to suggest he believes the AFL have been ahead in previous years.

Secondly, again, raw cumulative figures mean basically nothing when the schedules are so drastically different. Yes NRL have a massive lead in fox ratings EXCEPT when the scheduling conditions are the same. In this case the AFL are either ahead, or at least comparable.

This is the point of my argument last week, show me where cumulative ratings are acknowledged, or even discussed by anyone other than Roy Masters or other parties with vested interests
