Lets see, last weeks ratings. The ratings that matter mosts to the tv networks. Total viewers for the respective codes last week (including PayTV capital/regional figures) are shown below. Absolute smashing victory for the AFL as you can see. Please note, the NRL has not once this season outrated the AFL. Same last season and the season before that, and the season before that, and the season before that. You get the picture.

Anyway, here are the figures from last week. Throwball fans, please feel free to point out any week (yeah even just one) where the NRL rated better than the AFL.

AFL
Round 17 - Total - 3,252,000

NRL
Round 19 - Total - 2,659,000

I'm looking at the Link
I don't see any regional figures for either code
FFS, no one cares about regionals. Why would anyone bother when they don't even count all markets. Very selective to suit an agenda if you get what I mean.

That's not comparing apples with apples. Our Friday night game is delayed in all markets, some markets by up to 3-4hrs. Yours is live. That aside, we still smash you in the total viewers stakes each round of the season, each and every season. That's why our code is worth $1.235 Billion to the broadcasters and yours is worth a piddly $500 million. We achieved your current deal/figure 2 broadcast rights deals ago. 10 years ago in fact. That's how far behind and how big the gap actually is throwball fans. Reality is harsh isn't it. :<>

More like our 2nd tv match which was delayed a couple of hours in Sydney then  we still smashed you

In the total viewers stakes we have just 3 matches on FTA. On Averages we win.

You seem to be negecting the fact that it takes neary 30 of your matches to pull the same ratings as our 3 origin games.

We've been working under constraints these past 15 or so years, but the Tv deal we got, prior to News Ltd coming on the scene was a record. And we had almost 90k to an Origin match in Melbourne.

TV or Live?

TV no one's winning because the figures are fucking incomplete and what's there is wrong anyway because of the double counting in the fucking overlaps.

Live AFL is winning. Fucking easy!

Can you please confirm, is this thread purely NRL tv viewers v AFL viewer numbers, I say this as you AFL boys keep changing the goal posts?

If so when I get a chance, I will update some interesting figures. Onion please confirm if I am correct that the only figures you want to talk about is ozTAM 5 city counts?

I'd talk about ALL the fucking figures - if they existed!! They don't and that's the fucking point as well as the double counts being done on the fucking overlap that you refuse to admit happens!

Again avoiding the question.

Try I will try again. What figures or facts for the purpose of this thread are you suggesting we use. If you say there are none, then you are contricting your AFL buddy, Beaussie who started this blog with the figures from ozTAm to proove that AFL is watch more than NRL and you seem to be pretty supportive all through this thread on everything Beaussie says.

As the title of this thread suggest, it's Football TV ratings. Interpret that as being tv ratings for all the football codes Dogs.
