So grossly discounted tickets weren't enough to encourage 41k swans fans from Sydney to stick around and watch the rugby.

Great crowd for Sydney. In previous years they've relied on traveling AFL fans to get a really big crowd, but yesterday's crowd was almost entirely swans fans.

thats 3 more k than turned up to the NRL game at allianz last nite, just right after the AFL one 41k at the SCG, then after the game the NRL had people offering discount tickets to the game, and still only 9k showed up, for 2 NSW based teams
