Now go straighten out Cwackhead posting a lie about me .

& don't give me some bullshit about Opinions. As what I posted was my opinion..
Seems to be one rule for some & different rules for others

Because you made a claim that wasnt an opinion and was easy to prove or otherwise

Because you jump on any poster when they claim things you consider a lie.

Hardly an achievement for a code that won't even expand into Brisbane :_<>

We spent less because we had less debts & expenses to pay, Liabilities and keeping clubs afloat - A.D's $4m salary.

No you spent less because 1) you had less to spend and 2) It was a stated goal by the ARLC to create a future fund, like one the AFL already has.

The one that has't been added to since it was establlished in 2010and 1011 seassons. Hardly relevant when discussing reasons for there modest profit in 2014.

The AFL have already put funds aside for their futures fund. The NRL are yet to start. If they use their 50m for a futures fund their 2013 profit will be $0

2013 AFL Revenue - 502 million
2013 NRL Revenue - 314 million

2013 AFL Broadcast and AFL Media revenue - 234.8 million
2013 NRL Broadcast and Digital Revenue - 228 million

2013 AFL Non broadcast revenue streams - 268.3 million
2013 NRL non broadcast revenue streams - 90 million

2013 AFL payments to clubs - 209.15 million
2013 NRL payments to clubs - 129.6 million
out of the AFL and NRL annual reports

out side the broadcast revenue, the NRL struggles

Payments to clubs is a liability. - liabilities is an area you excel in.

Adum you are that desperate you have resorted to making stuff up. What the reports actually say is :-

2013 NRL Broadcast revenue 228m
2013 AFL Broadcast revenue + media revenue =234.8

A wild guess here , (not really :_<> ). Is that the AFL were around a little longer than 18months when they had turn over of 300m.

Though one thing I know with complete certainty is that the AFL didn't make a $50m profit this year. :_<>

After a very hostile take over from News Ltd last time round I think the proposal is very commendable. Establishing a war chest or a fund for a rainy day is not a new idea and hardly one the AFL should be taking credit for.
