the gabba has been sold out many times falure dave.
the highest crowd ever for the cricket is only Cricket – 38,87 and there has been several sell outs for that
the highest crowd for the AFL 37,224
the 42. capacity is crap, as there are restraunts and bars in several of the stands, the other thing that league doesn't have to deal with, is the cricket club in the GABBA that has control certain sections

the same issue the MCG has with the MCC. all tickets will be sold, but the MCC area may still be rather empty
but then again you will not understand, as the NRL doesn't have to many sell outs or many people turn up to games

Derpball has never come close to filling the Gabba.

they have many time, itsnt it funny how the the top attendance is similar to the crickets top attendance, who we know has sold out the gabba many times.
31k rock up to the broncos vs titans game the other week, 26k show up to the essendon vs lions game the week before, yeah crowds are really shit for the lions, who are sitting on the bottom of the AFL ladder.

go and list all of the crowd averages ay
its been a while since the broncos have come close to a sell out
the roar get no one one to their games, unless it is the GF.

our filthy fuckin liar strikes again :^o :^o :^o :^o :^o :^o :^o :^o

42K is the capacity for fumbles & bumbles at the GABBA ...
40K is the capacity for cricket

highest crowd for that victardian abortion was 5000 shy of capacity .. some 11% of the grounds capacity
& not a sellout in any way shape or form

Crickets highest crowd there is 39,841 in 2006
100% of capacity

the record attendance for the ground is actually 47,096 held by Rugby League of course :\: :\: :\: :\: :\:

there has never been a sellout for any fumbles & bumbles game in QLD ever
not for the Kitty Kats
not for the Thuns

whilst every other sport there is has experienced this in QLD   :(/ :(/ :_<> :_<> :_<>
& all 3 QLD NRL sides have .... on many occasions

fumbles & bumbles .... irrelevant in the sunshine state

no it doesnt dickless dave,
the cricket has had several sell outs with the highest recorded is only 39k, pretty much on par with the AFL highest crowds
so there has been several sell outs.

as for that record crowd, that is because the GABBA use to be a greyhound racing track. it had the field, with the track around it. it is a completely different venue now days

Only sell outs at the gabba have been cricket and Rugby League where sports are concerned.

Lions have never sold it out.
