The NRL’s Perth Bears sign deal with The West Australian’s new owners

Perth Bears have signed a three-year deal with The West Australian’s soon-to-be parent company guaranteeing it coverage. From later this month, pending a shareholder vote, Southern Cross Media will take over Seven West in a deal announced in September. It will create one company owning television, radio and print media assets.

Southern Cross owns the Triple M and Hit radio brands, a network of regional stations and the Listnr app. In WA, it owns Triple M 92.9 and Mix 94.5 and 34 regional radio stations. The deal will give listeners in WA the ability to win Perth Bears merchandise and experiences, and give the network access to its players and coaches for interviews and coverage

The Perth Bears are poised to claw their way into the NRL rich list with a massive jersey sponsorship deal worth more than $6 million with Cash Converters.

have joined forces that will see the iconic Golden Arches logo feature on one panel on the back of the Perth Bears shorts for seasons 2027 & 2028.
The 3yr deal will also see Ronald McDonald House as the club's charity partner.

Yeah I know pal. Bloody travesty. No one should ever announce the signing of a sponsor. They should never be spoken about. Never sighted. No signage should be anywhere. They should be the entity that is unseen and unheard. They should just hand over buckets of money for absolutely no reason. Just like they do in the Australian Fumbling League.

Corporate partners listed on the codes official website. its not like there is a press conference and articles beating the drum like it was winning the lottery of gaining a sponsorship

the AFL makes far more sponsorship with out the fan fare. the ironic part about it the NRL should due to Sydney being the largest state in Australia and League apparently being a game played internationally.

What they have received is similar to what GIANTS have received

GIANTS received a stadium upgrade blacktown & Olympic Pk
GIANTS received a Centre of Excellence

the government of WA has added Rugby League to certain schools for funding >> which other sports already receive >>

All teams Of all clubs have press releases and of all major sponsors to the club > its all about promoting the brand of that club..
some teams of all codes get articles on them all so..

this is more about highlighting them >> as you were very against them even making money in the first place.

The bears are just recycled crap from Sydney they are funded by the government! All this monthy and wealth the NRL apparently has didn’t even put a cent in to the club and its relocation or wealthy supporters from the NRL or Sydney.
